It has been a long time since I have written a review and after this past stay I feel it necessary to give a review to offset the asinine 5 star reviews that this hotel has. I’ve been DUPED!

In short, guests beware this is no 5 star hotel, 3 star at Best but marketed and priced as a 5 star.

Some highlights:

1) Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner is buffet style food that reminds me of what would be served at a nursing home. I survived off of rice and bread for $40 a head. Also don’t expect to get any service, fend for yourself if you want a drink.

2) Parking - Best of Luck here. You are on your own. I will let this be a surprise if you are so brave enough to book this hotel.

3) Dead Bugs. They are all over the hotel, big black bugs that the cleaning crew do not feel are necessary to clean up.

4) Dingy smell in room. Reminded me of a public Gym locker room.

On the positive:
Dead Sea is nice as well as beach. Which I would give more stars but feel that a 1 star is needed to offset all of these 5 star reviews. I can hardly believe these are real people reviewing this hotel.

This hotel has no security so you could always go here, take a parking spot for the guests and walk through the hotel to get in the sea. Get all of the positives and avoid eating or sleeping at this location.

We were skeeved out the entire time and couldn’t wait to leave. I’ll start from the beginning. The parking lot is a mess and there’s no priority given to hotel guests. It’s mobbed with day trippers and no one is regulating whether or not people who are parking there are actually staying at the hotel. It took thirty minutes to park the car. At a “five star” hotel that’s the first thing that seemed odd to us. Check in was mobbed and the beginning of a consistent theme - being constantly ignored or brushed off by staff. When we got to the room, we couldn’t believe the pictures online versus reality. It’s three star quality at best . Complete with stains on the walls, paint and wall paper peeling off, plastic curtains ripped at the top and bottom , grimey floors, and two twin beds pushed together. We paid just under 500 a night (what a sham) for a nicer room. We were in one of the rooms that comes with the semi private pool , a cabana , and a hammock . You can’t even use the cabana because they are all swarmed with ants . There are stains all over them, it’s gross. They make it look so luxurious in the pictures and it’s an absolute dump. The hammock was the only thing we used because the ants couldn’t get us there . The semi private pool is dated and gross, you won’t enjoy spending time in it . And it’s cold. There were two bath robes hanging in our closet for us and they were both wet . Not just a little bit wet but straight out of the wash machine wet. On floor -1 where you access these “special” rooms - it feels like a cruise ship from the 1980s. There were these massive dead black bugs littering the floor throughout our stay, so gross. The ceilings are low and it’s dark. The air conditioning system in our room made the room smell of damp and mold . I woke up at 7am feeling sick, like I had consumed contaminated air all night. The smell was truly awful. I gagged at one point that morning. The outdoor facilities are dated. At a “five star” hotel you’d think there would be chairs and loungers being set up for you - nope. You might as well go to a communal beach with your own chair because it’s better than what you’ll get here. The food at lunch was not great. Nothing tasted fresh or good. Checking out, I came to the conclusion that the front desk is just perpetually understaffed. It took forever and the staff are just so annoyed by the guests. I was just happy to be checking out. The fact that this hotel can claim five stars just seems so wrong ! Don’t be fooled and spend your money elsewhere !

The hotel has a great location right in front of the Dead Sea with a private beach. The construction and amenities are nice and the service was ok. The food is not extraordinary. The problem was the cleaning on the room. My daughter lost a sandal, so we moved all the furniture to look for it. What we found below the furniture was disgusting: full of dirt, other peoples sandals, medicines, food and even a pacifier. We did mention this in reception, they didn’t even apologised.
