“Our stay April 2013 at Daniel Dead Sea Hotel”
Reviewed May 2, 2013

We were with a group traveling from the United States. We were advised that we were being upgraded to this newly renovated hotel. Prior to our trip I looked it up on Tripadivsor and for the most part the comments were negative. I found them to be true. Rooms were dirty, stained furniture, broken coffee pot, chewed gum left on counter. Outer shower curtain torn, shower safety bar came out of wall. Hair dryer was filty with fingerprints. Food ok, but not impressed. Very difficult to get a cup of coffee, especially in the morning. People standing around doing nothing and one guy serving coffee from one small pot for indoor and outdoor seating. I would not recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: I understood from fellow travelers, that they experienced the same dirty rooms. I have nothing to r...

I was in the hotel with my mother.
We had the trip with her company.

It's a very good hotel with large rooms and good food.

The spa has water from the dead see and more...
There is a bowling in there.

It is placed close to the dead see.

Though, the mattress was too soft for me...

We had a very good time there.

The public areas of this hotel are beautiful. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. But my chief complaint was the cleanliness. The rooms really needed a good cleaning. The furniture in the rooms was stained and looked well worn. At checkout at 8 am, only one person was working. The person was rude to the guests. I suggest you stay at a place right on the sea. It's much more convenient.

The hotel looks great, and the rooms are big and comfortable.
The spa area is too crowded and noisy.
But the worst is food and the service, particularly breakfast. The cheeses were not real cheeses, but substitutes, the guy who was making omelets was rude and didn't know what he was doing. He managed to make half-burned and half undercooked eggs. The dishes were dirty.
The variety of food was poor and low quality.

21 March 2013 We celebrated my birthday at the Daniel Hotel. It was the right place to go. Fun and relax at the spa and the hot tubs. It had a very romantic feel with the double bed outside, in the pool, which gave us the feeling of royalty. The hotel is wonderful, lots of character which we really enjoyed. We were so well looked after, the service by the hotel employees was good. They are very helpful and attentive. The food was good and we would defiantly go back in the future. Thank you again to the owners and staff for a special birthday treat! And to my friends.
