“What a dump!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2012

It is rare that I have stayed at a place that was this dirty with even worse service. Our room has a nice view...but the furniture is ragged, there is a huge leak stain on the ceiling, the shower head was dirty and broken and the bathroom floor was so gross, I wore my flip flops.

I actually cancelled my spa appointment for fear that the spa would be as dirty as our room. The service is equally bad. They didn't have several things on the room service menu which was limited anyway. The vendors open and close at odd hours....so you never know if you can get a drink or towel. Some of the receptionists are just plain rude.

Stay next door. This place is a small step above a roach motel.

Great hotel, but not really for couples more for families - very kid friendly.

Room was great, big, spacious and great view. The pool area was great, and they had a great indoor dead sea spa area.

The dinning area was always crazy busy and was buffet style, not the best food.

But overall was ok .

We got a suit the room was great however the only flaw was that there was no porch.
the dinner offered a large veriety of dishes.
the hotel was pleasent. the best thing to do is the bowling and the SPA which was one of the best SPA I've been in.

the service of the staff was average

Nice hotel.
We got a high floor room with a beautiful view to the Dead Sea
The disadvantage was that in the room was no balcony to sit and enjoy the view.
The Spa was nice but the pool was small.
The hotel has it own bowling, so those who come with children it is nice ,since there's much to do at the Dead Sea, Other than being at sea and at the pool.

Room Tip: Ask for room overlooking the Dead Sea, the view is amazing!

Very big hotel at the dead sea, you will not expect a fantastic service in such a touristic place.
First impression when you arrive, it's difficult to find a parking spot, you're a guest but they just don't care, they send you 200m away, but then the groom will tell you with a wide smile "you know, it's here a five star hotel" in fact it's just ridiculous. The rooms are ok, but only 3 to 4 stars worth not more.
The private beach is, they told, just over the street but it's not indicated clearly, so everybody is asking: "do you know where Daniel beach is?", in fact it's on the left side of the hotel. The beach is disgusting dirty, a lot of plastic plates and cups are deriving from the public beach 50meters north and nobody seems to care, 5 stars they said....
I tried the 30€ buffet for dinner, there is a lot of food presented and the quality is globally ok (but not 5 stars) but the biggest problerm is that you are in the middle of 500 other guests fighting for the buffet. The free small red wine bottles are staying all day long in the sun, so you would prefer to order a big bottle (haven't tried).
Ac is working well.
there is only one desk to check in/out so be patient.

Parking is first come first serve and the lot is tiny. It was full when we pulled up and the "porter" (guy standing by the door outside) was unable to tell us where there was more public parking. I had to stand in line inside for 15 minutes and ask 3 more employees before someone could tell me... it was only just around the corner- nice information that maybe the man in the parking lot should tell people? The whole front desk area is understaffed and stressful due to the disorderly lines of impatient guests.
The room was very attractive with a nice view, but given the slacker attitude of the staff, it was not worth the price. I'd rather pay for good service than room decor. I won't stay here again.
