“Not bad at all, but expensive”
Reviewed January 24, 2014 via mobile

I stayed there for 2 nights because I got a good deal online, so I was happy with my stay, but I wouldn't pay the normal price on peak season. Even now (january) the spa was full and not that clean. Other guests were mostly russian retirees. My room was spacious and clean, but it was above the bar and I could hear the music all too well. Breakfast buffet was ok, if you don't mind waiting in line for your coffee. There is a small but well equipped gym which I enjoyed (no russian retirees there). Reception staff did their duties but weren't overtly helpful or smiling even.

Great option for hotel in the Dead Sea . It's the second time that I stayed in this hotel, during a local business trip , and it was excellent . Comfortable and clean room. Great dinner, don't give up. Unfortunately , there was no free WiFi.

We and two other Israeli couples spent two nights at this hotel between January 12-14 and we all sang its praises. We all intend to go there again. Reception, dining room, and room service staff were wonderful. Our rooms were large and clean and we had a wonderful view of the Sea. The hotel was renovated 2.5 years ago and the furnishings are new. There was a variety of tasty food. This is a smaller hotel than the luxury hotels we have gone to in the area but we enjoyed it more. The hotel has two small Dead Sea water pools, two Jacuzzis, and a small gym indoors and a medium size swimming pool outdoors. The beach is across the road and the shops selling Dead Sea products and other goods are a two-minute walk. It is great to take walks while viewing the Sea and the Jordanian hills on the other side. I need to point out that we went during the week and in off season so there were probably fewer people than during peak season and no children. We slept with an open window because the centrally controlled air conditioning system was set for heating and we felt warm. This was not a big problem so we did not pursue a solution. The bathroom does not have a place to hang the spa robe because the door is made of thick smoked glass. There is no balcony so we dried our bathing suits on the retractable line in the shower or on a chair.

This was my first stay in this renovated hotel and everything about it was great - the service is quick and efficient (there was a rope missing and within 2 minutes thet brought us one to the room), the food is very good and of good quality - the variety is a little smaller than in other hotels but the quality of the food is a lot higher. There are two "dead sea" water pools in the spa and two jaccuzies so it's never too crowdy. One point about the dead sea water pool is that the water is less oily and thick compared to other hotels, but still good enough and relaxing. The hotel is not too big so that you can enjoy a quiet atmosphere. Highly recommended if you're looking for a classy vacation.

The hotel is across a main road to the Dead sea, access to the Sea is ok(a short walk ~800m). Hotel has a more modern look which is great. During our stay it was quite busy, which meant their reasonably medium size dining room was quite congested which I don't enjoy. Dinner buffet was good, a large variety which meant there is always something you could enjoy.

A classy elegant, well kept and very pleasant hotel, with attention to details both in the public spaces and in the rooms. The interior design style can be described as "modern Scandinavian" adds to the atmosphere.
Good service, good food and attentive staff add up to an enjoyable stay.

Some remarks -
- Price wise - look up for the special deals.
- If you like espresso/cappuccino for your breakfast - expect a line up at the counter.
- Though the hotel in not on the beach, there is a frequent shuttle service to the private beach (which is a few minutes walking distance).

Room Tip: All rooms face the sea.

Below average rooms,
adequate breakfast-
nice gardens-
I wish I had done more homework there are alternatives
My evening of arrival had an unpleasant unforgiving receptionist unwilling to work out a problem.

Room Tip: Look elsewhere
