We stayed at the Marmalade cat for two nights Labor Day weekend. It was a lovely, quirky B&B with delicious food and fun decor. The innkeepers were incredibly friendly and helpful. The B&B is located in an ideal place - blocks from the downtown shopping and Watkins Glen State park and Seneca Lake...about a five minute walk to all. Also great location for access to wineries on both side of the lake.
We came up for a wedding and would definitely stay again - it had much more personality than a normal hotel and the breakfast would have cost $20+ per person if we would have gotten it in a restaurant - making the stay an extraordinary value.
Also the cat decor isn't overbearing...but they do have the FRIENDLIEST cat I have ever met...literally - and I have two friendly cats at home...See pics below - the cat only wants to be on a lap...i have never seen anything like it...Even my boyfriend the dog lover loved this cat.More
