“Spare of the moment vacation”

My husband and I headed out on a whim and decided to try a B & B in Watkins Glen instead of a hotel. We picked a great one. Barb and Tom are most hospitable. One night we were the only guests and they sat and chatted with us. Never too busy to make sure their guests were cared for. Breakfast was delicious, and the portion was huge. Stuffed french toast one day and omelets the next. Fruit, homemade muffins and scones and more. Wow! Our room was small but shower tiny but for a place to lay your head served the purpose. Bed comfy. Entire place clean. Will return someday.

We've visited Watkins many times but have always stayed with family. Our first B&B experience here may have spoiled us for staying at any others. If you don't know anyone in Watkins, Barb and Tom are just the people you need to meet. Besides the great breakfast and cozy accommodations, they share the generous hospitality that we all look for in B&B's but don't always find. We look forward to seeing them again.

We just returned from a fabulous weekend staying here with another couple. We stayed in the Concord Suite which was a large comfortable room (Our friends were in the Chardonnay room -- also lovely). We walked across the street to Watkins Glen State Park as well as downtown to the restaurants. But what makes Echoes of the Glen THE best place to stay are Barb and Tom, who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They were very helpful with recommendations on restaurants, wineries (they have Seneca wine trail maps, coupons for many tasting fees and/or purchases), and golf. And the breakfasts are to die for!

Would recommend Echoes of the Glen to anyone considering a visit to Watkins Glen. You won't be disappointed! We'll be back. Thanks for a great weekend.

The Echoes of the Glenn B&B was a warm and welcome home away from home.
Barb and Tom are very knowlegible of the area. They also knew the best eateries and winierys
to visit. They both helped make our visit enjoyable and relaxing..
Awesome breakfast! Barb and Tom went out of their way to make each guest feel special.
Walking distance to many amenities. Waiting for Barb's cookbook!
Thank you both

THe food was fantastic, fresh and plentiful. Tom and Barb got up very early one morning to pack us a breakfast to go (since we left to go to our son's graduation at Cornell). Hosts are so friendly, accommodating and make you feel very comfortable. Within walking distance is the Watkin Glens State park with 19 beautiful waterfalls to hike as well as an ice cream parlor directly across the street for after the hike! One of the nicest B and B's we have stayed at! Thank you for a very comfortable and wonderful weekend at your home. M

Room Tip: Second floor, very quiet with ample room. Well ventilated with shower and very clean.

Wonderful place to stay! Clean! Delicious breakfast! Great amenities to sitting on the patio enjoying a glass if wine, reading in one if the comfortable chairs, watching tv on the large screen, or enjoying the lovely-decorated bedrooms.

My husband and I just returned from our first visit to Watkins Glen, NY. We were so fortunate to stay at Echoes of the Glen Bed & Breakfast. What a gem! Our room was bright, cheery, and clean. Barb and Tom were indeed the hosts with the most! They gave us great tips on restaurants, wineries, and other area attractions to make our visit truly special. We’ll definitely be back!
