“Nascar 2013”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

We went to the track Saturday and Sunday for the Nascar races and had a great time. Raceing both days had a lot of good driving and pit stops. Saturday you can move around and sit in several different stands.
The staff at the track are very nice and very helpful. everyone form the people helping you in the parking lot to your seats.
Every thing you can think of for a race is at the track. Looking forward to the next race

“13 years and counting!”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

This was year 13 of my getting together with the guys at Watkins Glen. for NASCAR at the glen. year to year they improve parking, seating and the venue overall--this year was the exiting of the parking areas--much improved altho they could have not limited my access to lot 6 from 17 it was a 7 mile journey thru the countryside only to encounter traffic from the other side---( guys wake up and open all accesses) there should be signage to where generally you are heading to upon exiting---Corning--Watkins Glen and whatever the 3rd side goes to--but I still give this venue a 5 bc they Improve every year and I look forward to the next year bc of those improvements

“Sprint Cup 2013”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

This was my first ever NASCAR race. It was an amazing experience at Watkins Glen International. The staff was very helpful and it was a very secure event. There was a high police presence along with security checking bags and purses. We had tickets on the front stretch right next to the finish line, the seats were amazing. They were a little tight and uncomfortable but a great race was well worth it. We also had a chance to walk through the pits and the garage. It was a great experience and highly recommend visiting this race track!

“Cheez-It 355 at the Glen”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

First NASCAR race for us - we like road courses and have gone to Lime Rock in Connecticut several times. Watkins Glen is so much bigger - and since it was a NASCAR race weekend, so much more crowded. But the course handles the crowd well; the traffic coming and going is another story. Beautiful setting in the rolling hills of the southern tier. Bathrooms were clean and there were picnic tables, benches and other amenities in the shade of the grandstand (Seneca) we were in. Would definitely go back but probably for the lower profile races so crowds and traffic would not be such an issue.

“View disappointing”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

I didn't know how to rate this review. I would give 5 stars for the friendly staff and clean grounds but there really is not a good spot to sit where you can see much of the race. I suppose the best place was in front of the finish line (where we had seats) but all you see is a straightaway. We stayed in The Bog, which is on a turn, and you see the top half of the cars going by for about 5 seconds a lap. They do have a jumbotron at The Bog but in a very awkward angle on one side of the place so a limited few can view it. They need to add a few more, paying $150 a person to get into The Bog for the weekend, you'd think they would provide better viewing. If you're going for a VERY expensive social outlet, then this is the place for you. Extremely expensive weekend, been there, done that, wouldn't even consider going again.
