“Nice spot for breakfast but prepared to wait”
Reviewed September 3, 2014

We grabbed breakfast here a couple of times during our stay. Be prepared to wait awhile however if you want a breakfast sandwich or something warm to eat. The tiny kitchen can be overwhelmed with orders and we waited 30 minutes for some breakfast sandwiches. While they were tasty, we wished that they had more capacity to get the food out quicker. If it is crowded inside, there is a nice courtyard outside to enjoy your meal.

“Too much good stuff”
Reviewed September 3, 2014

Place of choice by a long shot for breakfast or lunch. Locals congregate for breakfast so sometimes there is a short wait for the foo but it is not a bothersome issue in this friendly and comfy setting. The Texas Hollow is my go-to for lunch as it is such a treat! Homemade baked goods are terrific and huge! The staff is very accommodating and special orers are no problem. Go there!

“Yum...worth the wait”
Reviewed September 2, 2014

Stopped in for breakfast. Ordered The Boss breakfast sandwich which was quite tasty. Friendly service. Does have limited seating and I had a bit of a wait, 20 minutes, to get my food. Would recommend calling and ordering in advance on the weekend. I would definitely go back!

“Solid Lunch in Watkins Glen”
Reviewed August 31, 2014

Watkins Glen doesn't have many fast casual places to grab a quick bite to lunch, but they do have Glen Mountain Market which makes up for that. We stopped by on a quiet Thursday afternoon following a Gorge hike, hungry and looking for a decent sandwich. We both had the special hot turkey sandwich, which was served with a choice of fruit, pasta salad or other sides. The sandwiches were ready quickly and served up hot.

We found the staff to be friendly - the barista was chatty, as were the staff working in the kitchen. A quiet, quick place for lunch was just what we were looking for and they delivered. We'll be back on our next trip.

I was looking forward to a cozy coffee shop and bakery... Instead, the baristas were cranky and rather short with most of the customers including me. I waited quite a while for an Americano and their internet was down during this time, so a few around me were cranky too. The baked goods were average...basic cookies and scones, etc. the ambiance in this place could be great, but it was missing something???
