I am reviewing the restaurant, not the hotel (we weren't guests there). Can't really complain about anything- good food, reasonable prices, good service. Just wasn't anything outstanding. Decor left something to be desired.

This is a restaurant I have visited regularly for many years. If you want Quercy food, well cooked, look no further. The dishes are generally well cooked standard local fayre which are well presented. Confit, fois gras, pates, geziers, rabbit in a cahors wine reduction all feature on the menu as they have done for years. The menue du Jour always offers particularly good value. There are several restaurants in the locality which offer a haute cuisine take on local dishes, or try to produce somewhat lighter variants of the traditional. There is a good one on the top road in Puy L'Eveque, but on a winter's evening (or lengthy lunchtime) there is nothing to beat Henry. The local wines on the list are all good, but look out for the Reserve bottled specially for the restaurant.

I spent two nights here about eleven years ago and remembered how good the food was. So being in the area again four of us had dinner and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is very comfortable, there is also a terrace area adjacent to the garden and the owners are charming. We chose from a fixed price menu - starter, main, pudding & wine for £16 per head. The homemade apple tart is wonderful

We needed 3 nights B and B in this area to attend a family wedding close bye. The hotel was ideally loacted and we had a twin room facing the gardens to the rear. The room was basic but very clean and had a great shower/bathroom. We had air conditiong which was a real bonus (ask reception to turn it on at the mains). The hotel was typically French with the locals also eating and drinking at the tables which is always a good sign. There was also beautiful vine covered patio garden to the rear and excellent restaurant. ~it was 17 euro for a 3 course meal. Breakfast was basic/continental but hit the spot. We parked in the large car park opposite the hotel and never had a problem. Our room was cleaned and the linen changed daily by the maid who was really kind to us. The towels were a bit hard but didn't bother me. Great hotel for a short break or stop over.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the garden to the rear as this had great views and was quieter than those faci...

This Logis is only 2 star but the rooms are excellent value, clean and comfortable. Ours faced the pretty garden at the rear, had a nice terrace and was quiet. The restaurant serves good quality local quercy meals at reasonable prices and a good range of local Cahors Malbec wines.

Room Tip: Choose a garden facing room.

Simple good size room with terrace overlooking garden. Secure off road parking available and as far as I could see this was gratis. To us a pleasant relaxed style of management, neither patronising or oily. Not English speaking but why should they? I dont speak French but we managed well enough. A pleasant relaxing stay. I will arrange my route to take in this hotel again. A interesting little town worth visit.

For the area, this hotel is the best value. It's centrally located at the town's crossroads, with plenty of parking nearby. Breakfast is basic, but the staff is friendly, and there's very much a small town feel since everyone seems to know everyone. Our room had a large balcony overlooking the garden restaurant. Security was a bit of a concern because the hotel had the standard "hang your key on the hook as you leave" system, which meant that anyone could really access anyone else's key, but we never had any problems. Internet access during our visit (April 2010) was not stable. We made repeated attempts to talk to the hotel manager about this, who seemed to be getting his son or nephew to set up the network, but we could never get reliable access. Keeping those issues in mind though (security and internet), the hotel is a great place from which to visit the area.
