This place has been on the up for several years now and is at a high. Outstanding french cooking iwth a local twist- can be slow, they do run out of things, and the wine list is longer than what they actually have in stock- but the food is in another league from the other local restaurants which are themselves of the highest standard. Lots of foie grasa and its derivatives, always duck. Outside terrace is elegant, inside its like eating in a rather large chapel. Have the oldest of the Bouzet red wines for value and go with the Gascon specialities.
