Stayed here for three nights after our safari. Very friendly staff but service needs major improvement. I am not sure if part of it is a language barrier? It seemed like every time we had requests (particularly in advance), it was in one ear and out the other. We asked concierge to book two of our nights’ dinners at nearby restaurants when we arrived but somehow they never booked the second night at the place we requested. Service at the hotel restaurant was extremely slow and at times, the servers did not fully understand us. Our room had a damp smell to it despite having the ceiling fan on at full force. There was a used bandaid on the carpet in the hallway on the floor of our hotel. It took housekeeping/someone else a day to pick it up. The hotel booked tours for us; we asked to move one tour to a later hour but on the day of, the tour guide showed up at the original time and was unaware of the time change. Bathroom was nice and room was pleasant; that helped make it easier to stay there. Complimentary breakfast buffet was good.
