“Forgotten treasure”
Reviewed October 3, 2013

The baths were designed by a businessman from Iran and built by the Turkish contractor. Sad story is that the baths are not operative while similar design in Instanbul Turkey built around the same time is said to be a good tourist attraction. I honestly plan to visit someone in the near future.
Anyone to share with me other attractions in Instanbul or Turkey in general?

Amazing place must have been buzzing in its heyday. The care taker took us around the back to show us the original well and the rooftops with the skylights.

“Interesting for 20 minutes in the cool”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

Interesting enough to see the layout of the stone chambers and baths. Some confusion over the entry price which seemed negotiable but 1000/- (40p) seemed about right.

Worth a quick visit as you're wandering around through the alleyways of Stone Town. 10 minutes is plenty.

“Ultra cool and interesting visit which takes no more than 1/2 hour”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

Atmospheric and disused. Well worth a visit and a quiet sit down away fro the friendly hassle of the streets outside.
