Stayed on our last night of our holiday.

Great professional reception, we received a cold drink and a cold towel while we were waiting.
The rooms were clean, cool, spacious and beds very comfortable.
The only thing I wasn't thrilled about was that the view was non existent... a brick wall...
Easy to reserve via booking.com as well as their own reservation procedure was a bit tedious for Europeans.

The best is probably the roof terrace with a great view over Stone Town and def be there to see the sunset.

Wifi available.

I would go back here (but will ask for a room with a view...).

We stayed at this fantastic hotel at the beginning of December. We had two two bedroom rooms one with a fokdout bed as there were five of us. The foldout wasn't amazing and didn't get a mosquito net. The room was terrific and always clean especially the bathroom. Good aircon and fold down service as well as safes.
Breakfast was on the terrace where we also spent most nights with a group of friends enjoying the sunset with a cocktail.
The checkout could have been smoother as we were all paying separately but apart from that we booked transfers with reception and everyone was very helpful and welcoming.

We stayed here for 2 nights before heading back to dar es salaam. The hotel is lovely and very reasonably priced, its in a good location and everything is close by. The rooms are lovely and new feeling, the bed is comfortable and you get a good mosquito net and effective air con, the bathroom is modern and spotless too.
The breakfast served on the terrace had a nice selection. We took to the terrace to watch the sunsets both nights and enjoy happy hour. The only thing that let this experience down was the service at breakfast, lunch and during happy hour, we waited 45 mins one night for 2 drinks to arrive and had to reorder them 3 times. Was slow on both nights so wasnt a one off. Lunch was also slow, we ordered our meal and he came back 30 mins later to ask what we had ordered, I think then was it cooked, so took about 1hr to get lunch.
If your going to enjoy the sunset and happy hour i recommend you book a table as it can get very busy.
Would have been nice to have to have the use of a pool but as we only stayed 2 nights wasnt too bad, If the service was better i would have given this hotel 5 stars.

I only stayed here for 1 night before coming back to London but it was perfect.
It is in an excellent location near Forodhani Food market and the ocean.
There is a roof terrace bar and restaurant which goves a super view of sunset and a great happy hour.
It also has free Wifi and the best bed and pillows ever!
Well priced too so would encourage people on a budget to stay there.

Nice hotel in heart of Stone Town. Room was not too big, bed took up most of the room. Bed was draped in mosquito netting because they are pretty bad in Zanzibar. Great shower with nice water pressure and plenty of hot water. Roof top restaurant with good food.
