A gorgeous property in the heart of Stone Town with a rooftop restaurant serving fresh food and a great breakfast. I was given the Stanley suite on the 2nd floor which was just stunning. The building lovingly restored is just beautiful with gorgeous nooks and crannies. I didnt have a spa treatment but i heard from guests that its first class. You are in heart of stone town and yet its quiet. You are right onto Gizenga street which is full of street traders selling everything from spices to Maasai necklaces. I would highly recommend this property.

Room tip: loved my room the stanley suite

Dear KingdomDublin,

Greetings from Jafferji house and Spa.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, I am glad you enjoyed your stay and loved the rooms.
Stone town is a small place rich in many gift shops, restaurants and so many it is good you had time to experience few of these.

It will be a pleasure welcoming you again in the future when coming to Zanzibar

This historic building is really beautiful. It has a nice atmosphere - a winding staircase leading up to the generous sized rooms which are nicely decorated. The breakfast was very slow when we were there - one morning we left without breakfast before our tour despite leaving ourselves 50 mins to eat. However we mentioned this to the management and the problem was resolved. Our luggage arrived late from Precision Air during our stay and Mwanasha on reception was super helpful - she called the airline loads for us and didn’t stop until the bags were returned! Thanks for a lovely stay :)

We conveniently arranged to leave our luggage at this hotel, because we had stayed at the sister hotel in Matemwe Beach. Staff were so helpful. We decided to eat at the restaurant and were delightfully surprised to find it was on a rooftop. Definitely worth a look over the fort and the city. The food was great as well.

Had dinner and lunch here as well as drinks. The food was excellent and the service was also v good. The staff are friendly and chatty (especially Samson!). I would highly recommend this place, it has a relaxing atmosphere and the pool is lovely

We really enjoyed this place. The location is right in the middle of town. The atmosphere is very nice and the hotel is decorated with all kinds of historical items. For our room, the bathroom is bigger than the sleeping room which made the sleeping room a bit congested. However, we’d put all our luggage in the bathroom. I also checked out the honeymooners room which looked great. When we arrived there was a water problem but the hotel did it’s level best to solve it quickly. The rooftop restaurant is nice with great views however the meal portions are differing a lot. The chicken satee starter is like a full meal but the main course of queen prawns is like a starter. So inform yourself well on what you will get.
