Watertown has little to offer in the way of Asian food. We have driven past this restaurant's sister location on Arsenal Street but I guess the fact that it is surrounded by fast food restaurants, we have never stopped. We spotted Asian Fusion downtown and again assumed that it would compare with other downtown restaurants and not be very exciting. Their TV commercial looked appealing so we gave it a go for lunch today. The restaurant is very trendy and we were greeted and served by a very charming waitress. There was their full menu, a lunch menu, a separate roll and bento meal menu plus a couple of specials. Lots to select from. I opted for the bento meal with seared tuna and cold soba noodles. It came with 5 generous pieces of tuna, lovely noodles, soup or salad, four pieces of California roll, three gyoza dumplings, rice and a lovely piece of tofu with a soy dressing. My partner had the "American Idol" roll (not on the menu) and it consisted of about 8 generous pieces of sushi. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and prompt. You can eat for less in Watertown but you won't get this quality. We'll be back.

We love this restaurant. First if all we have been looking for good fried rice since we moved here. By good I mean closer to what we find on the west coast where we're from. We finally found it here. Secondly their sushi is wonderful. We're not extremely picky when it comes to sushi, there is generally two kinds for us....good and bad. They have a great selection and its all very fresh and delicious. My husband loves their pad Thai. We also have two kids who are always welcomed, though we try to go at less busy hours and days when taking the kids. They have a great selection so everyone can get something they like. We also call in for take out at times and its always fast, ready, and still good portions which is a problem sometimes when doing takeout up here, if you're not dining in they skimp on the portion.

Watrrtown is a great city with quickly improving choices. The owner of this restaurant and her merry band of helpers created an incredible atmosphere right out of Tokyo or London. See it to believe it! The food is outstanding!!!! Fusion suggests a variety of ethnicity- Japanese, Chinese, and Thai. Never been disappointed. Have seared tuna, any roll especially avocado and spicy hot tuna roll, and my favorite is "Mai Fun" with chicken. Spicy and tiny light noodles! Wonderful full bar will meet your needs! $$$

The menu covers many asian options, to include sushi, thai, chinese and others. It took my husband, my in laws and I quite some time to even decide what to order, there were so many options. The chicken lettuce wraps were delicious and mango chicken wonderful, as well as Szchuan Chickaen and other dishes at the table, we were all very happy. The decor is very hip and modern, a nice addition/ variety to the Watertwon restaurant scene. Only complaint our male server was incredibly hard to hear, as he mumbled and scuffled his feat back and forth to the table, he needed to kick it up a notch to match the otherwise great food and atmoshpere. Who would have thought a former eye doctor location could be transformed into a hip new Asian restaurant!

You would think it would be hard to get good sushi in Watertown, NY. It isn't, at Ruyi they have the best. I almost hate to give a good review because when we go there, there is hardly anyone there, so service is excellent, sushi is great, and the atmosphere is very nice. The food is always very fresh and we have had nothing but great experiences there!!
