This is a lovely hotel. We stayed in a really nice, well planned beach view room, with sun loungers just outside in your own little garden space.
The room is fairly spacious with a very comfortable bed (coming from a heavily pregnant woman, that should say a lot) and a sunken seating area for watching TV. Watching TV from bed was not as convenient though as it is a bit small for the increased distance and is at an awkward angle. The free minibar is a nice touch (although if I was drinking I would have been disappointed to find only beer and soft drinks and no wine) and having good quality cafetiere coffee in the room is amazing.
The hotel is situated in a cove with a nice white sand beach that shrinks and grows with the tide. Perfect for swimming.
The restaurant options are not overwhelming but entirely passable. The breakfast was the best meal. Across all the outlets, food was expensive. Unjustifiably so, we thought. There are a few good independent options within a short drive if you have a car.
The only reason I haven't given this hotel a 5/5 rating is that while it is a lovely place, it really should be for the price you pay. This hotel lived up to our expectations but it did not exceed them.More
