This self-catering place with 7 units has opened in 2011 and lies in Port Glaud at the west coast of Mahe. We stayed in villa no.1 for two weeks and were absolutely happy about our decision. The rooms in the villa are huge - nicely furnitured - huge bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower and a giant terrasse. From every place in the villa you can enjoy a stunning view over the Indian Ocean. If you like a peaceful accomodation in a wonderfull surrounding where you can enjoy absolute privacy you should choose Villas de Jardin!
Ulrike, the german-speaking host, was very kind and helpful. She helped us organising tours, booked our reservations in restaurants and also gave us some very useful tips that made our first stay on Seychelles a memorable experience.
As everywhere on Mahe be sure to rent a car. Driving our own car was easier than expected und helped us to explore the island individually. The hillside villas are accesible by car (very steep road). A very nice beach at Port Launay is a short 5 minutes drive away. This place is also a good suggestion for a drink in the evening.
So, if you plan to go to Mahe and you are looking for an individual but superb place with great value then you should not hesitate and choose Villas de Jardin - you will not be disappointed!
