Staff were lovely, very helpful and spoke excellent English and French. Food was fantastic too, we had a lovely tagine, chicken brochettes , breakfast was excellent with fresh orange juice, pancakes, fresh bread and homemade jam, fruit, yogurt, good coffee.
He organised our taxis to Imlil and back to marrakesh for a fair price and even upgraded us to another room which had suite room.
IIf you wish to see the more peaceful and quiet side of Morocco, Imlil is the best place to go, and Riad Oussagou Imlil is a great place to stay!

The place is really nice and quiet. Clean and good rooms. Friendly staff and we were taking good care of from the minute we booked our stay till we left. The arranged for a taxi to pick us up at Marrakech and to go back after our stay. The also had amazing guided hiking tours in the mountains with professional and friendly guides. I will definitely come back!

We spent three nights at Riad Oussagou in Imlil. The Riad is a bit worn along the edges, but is comfortable with spacious rooms, a nice indoor sitting area, and a large terrace with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and nearby village.

Mohammed is the caretaker and does a very good job tending to your needs without being overbearing. He is also a master cook, preparing wonderful tajine meals for dinner. We ate dinner there the first night, then tried a restaurant in town on the second night. For the third night, the lure of Mohammed's cooking was just too great, so we had dinner at the Riad again the third night! Note that if you want wine or any other adult beverage, you do need to bring your own.

The Riad can arrange for guides to lead you on hikes in the surrounding mountains. I highly recommend this as you get to visit some ancient villages and some absolutely gorgeous waterfalls and green areas. The hikes are challenging, so be ready! Our guide was Omar, who was very friendly and spoke English quite well. He even insisted that we stop by his house for tea and gave us a bag full of cherries freshly picked from his trees.

Note that WIFI is available in the common sitting area and on the terrace. Also, Mohammed washed our clothes for us...at no charge!

We were very pleased with the great hospitality throughout the whole stay. The host offered to pick us up in Marrakesh, which we gladly accepted. The Riad offers great views of the Atlas. Relaxing on the terrrace, after hiking is recommended. The room was clean, quiet and spacious. Breakfast very nice. We recommend to stay at least one night at Oussagou!

I can recommend Riad Oussagou hostel 100%. Very clean and comfortable rooms, hot water all the time with amazing water pressure. The view is spectacular with direct access to hiking trails. Very helpful staff that speaks very good English. Excellent marrocan food is offered at a good price

Room Tip: use rooms that are not attached to the central seating area. If you are five people the lower apartment with big seating area can be booked.
