its not that much at all. but its worth being around in the mountains. its one of the places where you can rest for maximum 2 3 days but can't stay there any longer, i liked the location of the room a lot, it was also a very quite place, but needs to be taken care of a little more then this.

5 of us stayed at Riad Oussagou in 4 rooms in late March 2017. Hossan the owner was so hospitable and welcoming and was lovely to talk to in the evenings. Mohammed the chef was also very helpful, He have us a cooking lesson on making Meat tagine and Berber omelettes for free! The breakfasts were self service with a good selection of boiled eggs, pancakes breads etc etc Supper was a simple 3 course meal very reasonably priced - it was lovely to sit and chat to the other guests by the fire. Your room had a kettle with Tea + coffee. Shower was hot! Lovely terrace with tables and chairs, plus rugs + cushions to sit on. We would all thoroughly recommend this Riad and will hopefully return one day.

Initially we were a little disappointed at how far out of the centre of Imlil the Riad was but in fact the walk isn't that far. On arrival our rooms were not ready even though it was late afternoon. However we were warmly greeted and given mint tea on the rooftop terrace. When we finally got to our rooms two of them were incomplete as apparently they had been being renovated. The next day they were ok but still minus curtains and those extra bits to make you comfortable. The manager Mohammed was very nice and tried to be as helpful as possible. Breakfast was very good and the evening tagines very tasty and worth having at a good price. Good walks nearby and Riad can arrange guides. Points to remember *the Riad didn't take card payments*no money exchange in Imlil so make sure you have cash.

When you go trekking, then you lower your expectations, so I did.

The results are always greater then!

Staff just jumps to your request and treat you not as a customer but as a guest without any expectations from ... just because they want you to be happy.

Loved the experience from the sleepover through the food to the entire trip.

The proprietors are tres gentile. Very nice and accommodating family. The facility is clean and well run. The food is absolutely outstanding. The variety of choices was impressive and the serving size is quite remarkable! Highly recommended!
