What can we say! We have just returned from a 2 week stay in Mauritius, 1 week at the Les Pavillon for our wedding day with 23 guests in tow! Not only was the hotel amazingly stunning but the staff were truly exceptional tending to EVERY need and more for all of us! It's ridiculous how good they are! The wedding was a day we will never forget with Mani(wedding coordinator) and Serge(wedding master) being outstanding and so kind. It was a beautiful, memorable day that could not have happened without the care and attention we received from all the way through. We had all ages in our group and everyone was equally looked after and they love the little ones! The beach is exquisite and well cleaned everyday, just don't lie under the palm trees as the coconuts will fall! The beach towels are amazing too!!! The grounds are beautiful and extremely well looked after with 3 beautiful swimming pools its hard to choose where to go with it all being so lush! The food was exquisite and of 5 star quality (in all the restaurants) especially as we went all inclusive and enjoyed everything we could! I think we altogether ate them out of food and red wine! One night we asked them for a particular bottle of wine which they had run out of in the whole hotel and they said give us 15mins and returned with that bottle!! we are sure they went elsewhere to get one! unbelievable service and so polite! The manager should be extremely proud of their staff! The minibar was also filled up everyday and all included! My husband and I were upgraded to one of the best rooms in the hotel which was great! It had an enclosed outside shower!! Elegant and stylish decor, we also saw the superior rooms where all our other guests were staying and they were also perfect. There is also a lot of activities available especially water sports which are very easy to book and lots of fun! My husband qualified for his open water scuba dive and tells me that emmanuel and the rest of the team were great! If you get the opportunity to go with the Pure Discovery package then do so as it includes some fab excursions. It is an extremely peaceful and relaxing resort and the spa also helps with that! We all had a complimentary massage and came away floating on air! My husband and I left after 7 days to go to a hotel up the road (to start our honeymoon away from the family!) and we ended up walking down the beach for the next couple of days to see all the family and even though we had left they still treated us like royalty! We would walk down in the morning and not leave till the evening! All that is left to say is a huge thank you to say to ALL the staff there for making it a holiday and wedding that we will never forget and on behalf of all the family you will have a special place in our hearts. Pictures to follow!

This hotel is truly wonderful. Utterly relaxing, beautifully landscaped, wonderful beach, real attention to detail, free birthday cakes and friendly staff.
The food is good, not brilliant (except the thai meal which was delicious).
We had an amazing 10 days here.
Make sure you go all inclusive.
You can hire a car from the hotel.

Room Tip: All the rooms are excellent, even the standard ones. They are much better in reality than they appe...

We went to Les Pavillons as part of our honeymoon in July and overall had a lovely time. My husband loved the accessible snorkling on the great beach and the scenery behind the hotel is beautiful.

We were in a deluxe room, but were first given the room right at the end, behind Obergine, with not much of a view. The bath had a couple of flies in it which wasn't great, but otherwise the room was lovely. We were able to move rooms after a few days, which was better - but it was to a room where we could hear the music in the bar until it went off until 11.30, which was fine...

The beach was great, the hotel itself is well designed and attractive and the staff polite. The food was ok, but not great and although overall we had a lovely holiday in a beautiful location, the food lets the hotel down. Obergine was ok, as was breakfast and on the 2 nights when we paid (a lot) to eat in Nipa, we had a lovely meal - I had one of my best meals in Nautile at lunch (not open at night!) The buffets were really disappointing and generally made a nice hotel feel a bit standard.

I appreciate that Les Pavillons isn't one of the more expensive 4/5*s, but it kind of sums up the 'problem' with Tripadvisor, it may or may not have been good value for money - but I am not convinced that there was no-where better for our £s - and it really can be impossible to use Tripadvisor to distinguish the best value for money.....

We decided to go to Mauritius for my husbands 40th birthday and we were not at all disappointed. The hotel was recommended to us by our travel agents and we are so glad. We booked a prestige junior suite which was huge and with a lovely bathroom, outdoor shower and veranda. The hotel itself was so clean and classy but not too posh either which suited us fine. We have stayed in a number of nice hotels but this one has beaten all of the others hands down. We could not fault it at all. Staff were very helpful (particularly Ruth, Prateen and Briget), and the food was great. We ate in all three restaurants (we were all inclusive with no problems) and they were all very nice. The beach was the best one we have ever been on - some bits of coral but nothing too bad - we wore no shoes and were fine. We celebrated both of our birthdays there and we both got a lovely birthday cake and card from the management which was a great touch. We shall certainly be going back there.

Lovely room and location (where isn't in Mauritius) with Le Morne behind the hotel the view is stunning from the back as well as looking out to sea!

The food was varied, but probably the only downside as I didn't think it was as a good as it could be. I can't quite put my finger on why this wasn't as perfect a hotel as I wanted in Mauritius, but I'd stay here again.

We have just returned from our first holiday in Mauritius - having stayed at Les Pavillions for 12 nights.
This was a very special holiday for us and we had high expectations - but the location, hotel, hospitality and holiday were everything we had hoped for.
A hiccup at the start - on arrival we were exhausted, having left home 22 hours previously, and had naively expected to be shown straight to our room. Although we were greeted warmly and offered a comfortable seat and a drink we could not access our room for another 4 hours. In addition we were told that we were only booked in for 8 nights despite all our paper work from the travel agents saying 12 nights! We were told this could be a problem as 'the hotel is full" Obviously this was a huge worry for us but it wasn't until about 12 hours later, after we kept asking what was happening, that we were told "oh it's ok now" - We still don't really know what that was all about! Despite this problem at the start (probably made worse by the fact we were so tired) everything else was just perfect.
We booked half board and were more than happy with the excellent food - the breakfasts were a real highlight and kept us going for hours. We loved the food in the Horizon retaurant, especially the buffet evenings. The food was plentiful, delicious and presented beautifully. We also enjoyed the Lobster night in the Obergine restaurant, which was a real treat ( paid extra for this)
The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for you - always on hand to answer any enquiries or to offer assistance. We were impressed that some of the staff greeted us by name after meeting us just a couple of times. They were so friendly and helpful - without exception.
Our room was spotless and very comfortable. It was really close to the pool, beach and restaurants. We had free internet access which was useful. We were in a superior room. Every evening a maid came in and turned the bed down, lit candles and left bottles of water which we appreciated. Although the complex was very quiet we could hear someone in the room next door clip clopping in high heeled shoes very late most nights...the walls were quite thin.
The beach was beautiful and also spotless - raked daily. Sunbeds were always available and clean towels plentiful. The'Boathouse' staff were extremely helpful and we enjoyed the complimentary kayaking, sailing, glass bottomed boat trip and pedalo. We used our own snorkelling gear and saw plenty of fish within a large area protected for swimmers by buoys. We were pleased we had taken water shoes as there were lots of pieces of coral and sea urchins underfoot.
We were very lucky with the weather - the first 8 days were very hot and sunny, the last few days were overcast. Just one day of constant rain, and just a couple of showers during our stay.
In summary we had a fantastic time and would return to the same hotel - it was so relaxing and we loved every minute - amazing!

Fantastic place, All the staff are willing to help from the Manager to the cleaners,,,very clean and enjoyable place to be, The staff were always there no matter what time of day to serve or answer any queries of the resort or Island. We stayed for 2 weeks and my Bother got married there which was amazing and all the stops were pulled for the special couple on the day...The food was very reasonable and a wide variety of choice, drinks were reasonable, i.e 270 rupees for a large beer 66cl which is about £6.00 I have paid more in Europe and the setings are amazing....
