What was once a colonial house and classic car collection is now a restaurant surrounded by a well kept garden. A fantastic welcome and local food which is well put together and tastes good as well as being excellent value too. If you are visiting the nearby botanical gardens, this is the place to have lunch, without a doubt!

we visited as a group of 4. When we arrived by taxi, we were met by the owners who were waiting on the verandah. They greeted us extremely warmly with hand shakes and asking us about our oliday. We were shown to a table and brought a welcome drink. The menus were brought and we asked what was recommended. Without hesitation the set menu was recommended. This was a bit surprising as it was the cheapest option. We went with this as it was a Mauritian menu. The food was delicious (as was the South African wine) and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We also had views of the many birds which were encouraged to visit by regular supplies of food. Then there is the collection of vintage cars, mostly English, which are the owner's hobby and many of which are regularly driven by him. A beautiful setting with plenty to see and good food and wine at very affordable prices. A must for lunch if you are anywhere near.

Nice restaurant with good food at reasonable prices in strange surroundings! Lovers of classic cars, eat your heart out! Take the menu, it is certainly worth a large detour.

On our roundtrip of the north west of the island our taxi driver took us to this place and we loved it because we finally had some food that felt Mauritian and not westernised Mauritian food like in our hotel. The place is absolutely crazy with old cars and planes in the garden of the restaurant. The service is friendy and fast and the prices are quite cheap compared to other places.
We can only recomend this place!
