Goods:
+ food taste better than local cousins in most of places in vicinity
+ very nice ambience for evening dinner
Bads:
- lunch is horrible, don't taste as good as dinner
- quantity is a joke.
- never try starter; Mc Donald's much much better
- sometimes tastes like ready to cook meal available in super market
conclusion:
DINNER WORTH A TRY
LUNCH BIG NO

We visited this restaurant a few times during our recent stay in Grand Baie. It was recommended to us by our friends we met there who had been there before.
The food was excellent, a great choice, beautifully cooked and presented, welcoming staff and a very reasonable price. I was introduced to a "lassi" as I don't drink alcohol and although a bit reluctant, when I heard they did a mango lassi that swung it and it was delicious. Trouble is, they don't do them at my local Indian restaurant back in the UK. I had a meal called a chicken murgi (might have spelt that wrong) it was out of this world. My Husband had the king prawns and we have never seen any that big, he was recommended a vegetable side dish which he said really complimented the meal. The breads they made were perfect and we had a brilliant meal every time we went. Only negative is that it is a long way to go back to there for a take away! Food, staff, atmosphere and price 10 out of 10.

Wow, most amazing flavours and combinations. Now that they have moved closer to centre of Gran Baie, much safer to walk there at night.
Real good curries and side dishes, can recommend all curries on the menu.

This is probably the most well known and visited Indian restaurant in Mauritius....they have another one in Quatre Bornes too.

The food here is Good....not Great compared to Indian restaurants in the UK or Kenya.

They have foods from all over India...South to North.

Quite pricey, but i guess they can get away with it as it's in a touristy place.

Authentic Indian Restaurant, located very close to one of two Shopping Malls, SuperU, in Grand Baie. Menu and all looks to be Indian, but the food is what we call European spiced Indian food, which is a shame. So if you want Indian spiced food you should ask for it.
