My partner and I visited here for the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings. The service was great from the moment we walked in, very friendly and relaxed staff. The food on the tasting menu was delicious and I was very full by the end! Had Smoked Marlin, Duck Comsume, roast beef, and cannot remember the rest! Wine pairings were good, chosen well to go with the food. Had an all round great evening and would definitely retire, price was very reasonable and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

Beautiful setting and excellent food, it is worth paying the extra if not included in price for an exquisite evening. Only thing that spoilt it for us was there were two private function going on in gardens under our balcony which were very noisy.

Our meal at the Chateau was part of our all inclusive package and we knew that beverages were not included. The meal itself was ok - to be honest, we'd had superior food in BelleVue - the Maritims main restaurant. The service was really excellent and the staff working there are lovely. But the wine list really annoyed me - nothing was served by the glass, and the cheapest bottle of wine (a very average chardonnay) was €70. I appreciate it's a fine dining restaurant but even the most expensive restaurants will serve 'something' by the glass. It was a bit of a let down considering the vast amounts we'd spent in booking the holiday, but it in no way marred our overall experience of the Maritim.

The service was excellent. We were greeted by the Manager Mr Bim and treated like royalty. Out waiter for both evening was Muhool, sorry if I have spelt his name wrong and he was lovely. There were other who served the food but sadly I couildnt read their name badges quick enough. The Chateaubriand is excellent as are all the other dishes we tried. The little touches such as amuse bouche and petit fours at the end of the meal were lovely. At the end of our last meal there Mr Bim introduced us to the chef as we were enthusing about our meal so much. Cant wait to return to the Maritim and to the fabulous food of the Mon desir.
