we spent this summer 9 days in this amazing hotel with beautiful areas to relax, nice view and pool to swim.
All is perfect set up but what makes the best hotel and feeling to be like home is the AMAZING STAFF from the Concierge Kevin to service pool staff with full energy every day to play on the beach voleibol, aqua gym, walking power ( we would like to thank you Prethie, Jessica, Patrick and Oliver they will keep you fit! !)
Talking about food amazing Segala staff and cuisine mixed with the view to the beach
Thanks to Rajiv and his staff
Great bedroom
Special thank you to the resident manager, Juan Losada, taking care of every detail for each client. Thanks to all for making us a great vacations!!!!

We traveled to Mauritius in April this year and stayed at the InterContinental Resort. The kids and I loved the resort and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The staff in the restaurants were especially friendly and ensured that my boys needs were met at every meal. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting to travel to Mauritius with children. We will certainly visit the resort again.

Great hotel, we stayed in Presidential Suite, very spacious and lush, excellent service and great staff. Great food and the spa was excellent. I had two treatments. Noble House restaurant was the best!

Room Tip: Presidential Room is just a little more, but well worth it

We stayed in the resort for a week in july 2014. We had a family room booked for us as we were travelling with 2 kids. The room is quite spacious.
The kids had a great time. They specially enjoyed the kids club.
The service was good... the staff at the pool bar require a special mention..they were brilliant...

The only problem we experienced was with the bell desk..at the time of check in ; they forgot 2 of our bags;; it took them nearly an hour to get it to our rooms.

Overall it's a nice resort...had a very good holiday....

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff were very helpful and hospitable, we were meeted and greeted at all times. People with kind hearts helpful and well trained made our stay very enjoyable. From Reena and Nitin who work in the main restaurants to Olivier who works in the gym to other staff like Lloyd, the friendliness was above and beyond what we expected. The hotel was a full 5 star experience and had everything if not more than we expected down to little details such as room service twice a day to the taste of the food. The choice of restaurants, even being a vegetarian was great. In the main Senso restaurant there was one particular chef whose fresh indian cuisine at breakfast was most tasteful. The beach was spectacular and was a very relaxing experience with the private beach. The managers were very polite and informed us of the evening entertainments ( which was every night). All staff were approachable and need to be credited for their hard work as this is a holiday we would like to experience again in the future. Being at this resort offered great comfort and didn't feel the need to embark on excursions. Our room had two balconies including a jacuzzi and the room was spacious and lovely. Hope to see you all again soon, definitely one of the best places we have stayed and keep up the good work. :) xxxx rav & Sharon

My family of four and parents stayed at this hotel last week after 10 days on safari in Kenya. Having been fortunate enough to live in the US and Singapore and stay at some beautiful hotels around the world and with my husband being a member of the Intercontinental club, the Intercontinental Mauritius did not live up to expectations. As I've noticed in other reviews, we also had trouble with hot water and also a leaky toilet and bath and on one day a terrible sewage smell in our room. On one of the days we weren't left any complimentary water bottles in our room and after requesting some from the service department someone called my husband back and said that we had and was quite accusatory. The food was underwhelming, the main restaurant, Senso, was a bit like a food hall. For someone that is health conscious, I struggled. The chai, oatmeal and Bircher muesli were particularly disappointing. We ate there twice and then ate at Segara where the food and staff (particularly Rajiv and Gilles) were great. Whenever we ordered by the pool the food came out cold and took a very long time. If asked if I'd return, my answer would be highly unlikely.

Amazing hotel! There was a great view of the ocean from our bedroom. The service was exceptional, the staff was really nice, welcoming and courteous. The sale manager was Nittshy Mungroo whom was very sweet and made us laugh a lot.One of the great things of this hotel and the island in general is that it's bilingual. Also, food at Senso was better than many other hotels but my favorite restaurant was the Noble House which had an oriental theme, we had GREAT food there! The bedrooms are very spacious and there is wifi in every room which is nice for work. The ocean is very relaxing and the coco bar was opened until late and you could order from inside the pool. Overall one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Thank you so much the staff and Nittshy.
