My husband and I chose this hotel for our first anniversary. It was, from the moment we arrived an amazing experience, and one I would thoroughly recommend to other couples. The newly renovated hotel is a dream, its beautiful, and warm and just wow. The rooms are lovely, our "sea" view wasn't quite that, but it was surrounded by palm trees, and birds and secluded and just as lovely. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful. The restaurants are wonderful, especially the seafood restaurant (book when you arrive) and the rooms were always cleaned, it was amazing to come back from dinner and find your room was clean and ready for a relaxing evening on the balcony. The grounds are lovely, full of amazing plants and birds, and the two pools and sun loungers, what a way to spend a day. Couldn't have asked for more, and don't have anything to criticize, I really don't. Lovely place for couples wanting some quiet time together, in the most romantic of settings. Well done Paradise Cove.

Room Tip: Make sure you book the speciality restaurants on your first day, otherwise they book up fast and you...

Superbly laid out and manicured resort. Beautiful decor and adult only makes for a quieter time. Great service and food quality. Highly recommended to other honeymooners or to those who just want to go somewhere that extra bit special.

Spent our Honeymoon there last week. The place is just brilliant. So tranquil and relaxing in a gorgeous environment. Adults only policy means you don’t hear another person in a middle of the day despite there being over 100 people on site. The little alcoves and sun deck huts are great for privacy and all round variety. We spent every day in a different spot with its own unique scenery. The lagoon is perfect for a weaker swimmer – just deep enough to still stand down. The water gets amazingly warm in the afternoon - great for chillaxing. And if you fancy a proper swim there is ample opportunity to swim the Indian Ocean to the little floating sundeck set out in the sea.

The staff are brilliant. Attentative, always helpful and always with a cocktail on their hand. Definitely worth taking the hit upfront and going all inclusive, otherwise you could run up a fortune just on alcohol (£15 per cocktail)! Some other reviewers were saying the staff are pushy with drinks – not at all!! – drinks are much welcome for the heat and for the purpose – holidays. If anything they did not come around often enough. Remember it is 30 degree heat in a shade – need fluids!!

The food was just excellent. The main dining room had a different menu on every day of the week every item with a local touch to it. Just great. Free champagne for breakfast available to all. Indigio bar offered great variety from local to more international lunches. Stag and Pheonix local beers are great.

Our best cocktail was Sunshine Valley. We never got to the bottom of the list to try the Poison Apple…

We dined on the beach (candlelight dinner for the honeymoon couples) – perfect!
We also dined in the Cove. Really good ambience (little private hut for 2 on the stilts on the ocean) and again food was perfect too. Need to book 2 days ahead but most dishes are included in the all inclusive package.

A wee advice – give your server a small tip and the quality of cocktails shoots right up, Even got an invitation to his cousin wedding this weekend but unfortunately had to leave just before. Thanks Manoj! The staff are really friendly and appreciate small gesture of appreciation for their efforts to make your stay just perfect.

Our apartment (room 62) offered a perfect view over the lagoon. The apartments are set in such a way that feels like you have complete privacy and makes you feel special – none of those mass market institutionalisation with “we are all the same” approach you get in some bigger hotel chains . Feels like every room has its little touch to it.

The weather is best up North East. We had some rain only on the last day while most of the island was battered with storms and rain for several prior days. West coast is particularly bad – Flick en Flac is wet a lot due to the Easterly trade winds bringing moisture in that forms into rain over the central mountains and rains on the west coast and Grain Baie up North west is just mass tourism…

In closing would definitely recommend going to Paradise Cove for honeymoon or just holidays and will certainly go back there – simply was our best holidays ever.

Room Tip: all rooms overlook the lagoon. Rooms 40 to 70 give the best view.

Just perfect. Small and intimate, attentive staff yet you never felt they are ' sat on your shoulder'. Food and accommodation very good. Would - and will - return. The beach is clean and very private, in fact the whole lot was wonderful.

We stayed in October after a Safari in Kenya. It was pouring down with rain and very dark when we arrived at about 9.30 pm so first impression was a bit gloomy! Next morning we could see the place in the sun, it was beautiful. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom was very modern and clean. The food was excellent and the staff were really friendly, someone always around to get you a drink or food! We loved it!

we had a 10 day break at Paradise Cove in early November and cannot recommend it highly enough.
The hotel has such a relaxed, chilled out vibe that it was difficult for us to drag ourselves out of the hotel to explore the island.
For an All Inclusive hotel the food was excellent. Breakfast was a buffet, but with lots of choice and freshly cooked eggs, pancakes etc.. Lunch was a la carte & could be eaten either by the hotel pool or up by the beach overlooking the stunning ocean. Dinner was relaxed & usually a themed a la carte menu to choose from each day. We were worried that my husband would have to wear formal trousers for dinner, but as long as he wore long trousers/ jeans & a shirt it was fine. This small dress code helped the dinner seem special with everyone making an effort to dress for dinner.
I'm a vegetarian & found no trouble choosing meals and certainly never went hungry!
There are plenty of sunbeds with fluffy towels scattered around both pools, in the cove & on the beach with lots of shelter from the strong sunshine.
The staff were so attentive and couldn't do enough for you - welcoming you to the restaurants' and referring to us by our names which was a lovely touch & appreciated. They are on their feet all day & worked hard to ensure we had a lovely holiday.
I used the spa a couple of times which is a lovely sanctuary and an extra little treat.
We have been back 2 weeks now, & still pine for our holiday at Paradise Cove wishing we were back there enjoying a cocktail watching the sun go down!

Having just reviewed the comments from AdamJHB I cannot believe we are staying in the same hotel. Basic breakfast ! You have 12 choices of fruits ,cereals ,then whatever cooked option you prefer with a breakfast cook on 7 till 10 preparing whatever egg dish you like.In the last 8 days we only had 1 starter that was disappointing, the rest has been excellent.Even when we did not like the evening menu they prepared whatever we liked .Lunchtime ! How could anyone not enjoy looking out over the Indian Ocean eating Grilled fish on skewers or fish salad..6 choices a day !
I have to say the service and quality of food has been nothing short of excellent. Although we do not drink cocktails the wines on offer with the AI package have been above average ...altogether an excellent adults only resort, beautiful setting and fully attentive staff who could not do more to please. Let alone all the inclusive water sports ,sail, waterski, snorkelling who could wish for more.AdamJHB obviously.
