“Summer treat”
Reviewed April 21, 2014

First time for us this season. We know it's spring when Mac's is open. We stopped in for our usual Hoffman's white hot an French fries. We also like the potato salad, we think it's the best around, even better than Wegmans. Take a step back to the 60's and use the carhops. Mac's was cool in the 60's and it's still cool in 2014.

“Great Summertime place”
Reviewed March 11, 2014

Unfortunately only open in the warm months, this place has some of the best rootbeer and ice cream you can get, but also good burgers, hot dogs, etc

“Love me some Mac's!!”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

I love this place. They have the best tater salad and fried chicken ever. The root beer floats are great also. You can sit right in your car and the girls come out and take your order. You can also sit at one of the picnic tables or go inside.

“Go for the root beer. Not the food”
Reviewed January 7, 2014 via mobile

The place is neat. Old style drive up. Everything is fried and low quality. But the root beer is cold and very good! They also serve PBR for those adults who don't like their beer to be "rooted".

“Needs a serious cleaning”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

Took my kids for lunch while shopping at the Outlets. The food is nothing special- burgers, dogs-everything cooked on the griddle or fryer. Prices are cheap so you can't expect much. There is a bit of nostalgia about the place.
My big issue was how filthy the entire establishment is- it looked like it had not had a good cleaning since opening in 1961. The place is "vintage", true, but that does not mean it has to be dirty.
And to top it all off, an employee did actually start cleaning a disgusting ceiling fan that was over the counter- while we were sitting at the counter eating!!! Bits of crap where floating all over-
I had to ask him to please wait until we were done and gone. Weird.
