“Wonderful Experience”
Reviewed January 1, 2007

We had a wonderful time staying at the Inn at Stony Creek. The Innkeeper, Bill Signor was a very engaging host and made terrific fruit pancakes for breakfast. He shared many of his experiences and spent plenty of time with his guests. He is warm and down to earth and had some great travel tips. The birds were an added bonus and very entertaining as well. The Inn is very charming and the bedrooms are a very nice size and the baths were in excellent condition. It is easy to get to and there were plenty of things to do in Warwick.

Thanks for a fun time,
The Taeschlers

The Inn at Stony Creek is absolutely charming. The owner, Bill has restored this old dairy farm beautifully. We stayed in the Americana Suite which is a newer addition to the main house. It is an excellent value during mid-week. My boyfriend loved the 42" plasma TV and I loved the double size jacuzzi. The attention to detail from the bath salts and robes to the beer in the mini refrigerator was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was excellent.

The only complaint I had was it was a bit further from the town of Warwick than I expected. We got lost trying to find it at night as it is off the beaten path (but I guess that's what you want when looking for a quaint B&B).

Definately one of the nicest B&B's I've stayed at.

I was fortunate enough to stay at the Inn at Stony Creek for an entire week. I thought the Inn was charming. Bill, the owner, was very knowlegeable about the surrounding area and gave us plenty of great ideas of things to do and places to go - plus he is a great cook and his breakfasts were out of this world! I stayed in the Americana Suite, which offered plenty of privacy and room to move around. This Inn had everything I was looking for in a vacation spot and I can't wait for the opportunity to return!

We booked a reservation to stay at this charming inn early this month for a romantic weekend getaway. It wasn't enough that the inn's ambience was so incredibly warm and inviting, but the service was the closest to impeccable as one can get. Bill, the innkeeper could not do enough to make our stay more special. He picked us up from the busstop when our rental car was not ready for us. He brought us back to the rental agency later that day when it was ready. Bill was kind enough to recommend a number of restaurants in the area and then called in to make our reservations.
When we returned from our dinner at the place Bill recommended to us, which by the way was terrific, he had tea and cookies ready for us and a fire was going in the living room. This made for a very romantic end to our day.
The room was decorated beautifully with fine antiques and the bed was very comfortable.
This was definitely one of those surprise finds that you always hope you get when you stay at a quaint bed and breakfast.

This is a great place to stay in the Warwick area. It is close to the Ny Renaissance Fair at Sterling Forest.
I have stayed in this inn twice and I woudl definately stay there again.
The first trip I stayed in the Patriot room a large bright sunny room at the top of the stairs on the second floor. This room has a lovely canopy bed and a large bathroom with shower and tub.
The bed itself was incredibly comfortable and the room had ample storage space.
The second trip I stayed in the Americana Suite. It has its own Private entrance in the back of the inn and seperate staircase to the first floor for breakfast.
The room has a full living room with couch, chair , reading lamps and TV in a cabinet.
The Queen sized bed is in an alcove just past the Living room. The bed is a bit close to the walls being I am a plus sized gal, but climbing in from the foot easily solved the problem.
The bathroom in the suite is a world all its own. The oversided whirlpool tub is worth the price of the room! Great for tired muscles after running around at the Faire all day.
The innkeeper is just fantastic ... he knows the area really well and he can cook!!! Breakfasts were definitely a gourmet experience.
This is the best of the best in Warwick - I have stayed in 4 of the B&B's and none compare to the Inn at Stony Creek.
