I stop in here for lunch from time to time and find the food to be very good. The burgers are usually cooked to order, once or twice it was over cooked. The salads are fresh and always good. The chili is excellent, except for one time at the end of the night....it must have been the bottom of the barrel, very dry and over cooked. All in all a very nice place to eat and family friendly. I would definitely recommend Halligan's when you're looking for a place to hang out and enjoy good food.

Stopped by Halligan's for lunch with a friend. We sat at the bar and were served by a very friendly bartender. I ordered a soup and salad - a meal that would usually be nothing to write home about, but it was outstanding. The corn chowder was absolutely incredible, and the salad was fresh and delicious. Our friend said his burger was very good, and my husband enjoyed his Ruben. The bartender was very attentive, and our drinks were hardly ever empty. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Warwick.

We're are among the ones that don't like it. It's loud, their nose is up in the air, don't always have what the menu has on it.
Once , along with co-workers, we asked for two pitchers of beer. The waiter told us "This is a pub not a bar". How rude is that!. We asked for their Rib Dinner, but were told they had run out- at 6 pm! A few of us stayed and stood at the bar and got three pints. We gave him a $20 and got no change; when we asked he said that he thought it was his tip!
The waiter and bartender knew we were from a nearby village. They disdained the place by vitue of their tone (oh that place). The prices are high, even or Warwick NY.
But we people who really like it. Go figure..

If you are looking for some amazing food in a pub setting, head to halligans. Offerings include Duck Confit and Seared Scallops. Yummy stuff.

Not sure this would be my pick If i simply wanted dinner out BUT, if you want a place that's lively and serves a good meal this would be a good choice. It's a great place to meet up with friends for an evening.
