Great location, and cafe with live music, a bit pricey though. Employees are wonderful and know their wines and have great gift ideas

Something for everyone. We always enjoy bringing friends over to the winery. Buy a bottle of wine, $12-$15, some chips and salsa, pizza or a cheese & fruit platter...and of course listening to some great local music. We are frequent flyers here and enjoy an hour or two hanging out. ( I do want do add that no one was happy about the indoor restrooms being locked and out of service. I explained it might have been due to the crowds) But leaving on a good note, everything was good!

We first found out about Warwick Valley Winery about 3 years ago and we have been revisiting it every chance we get. They have great wine tasting. Wines for every pallet. I personally recommend their Chardonay. Their food service is out of this world. Anything from cheese and fruit platter to cold cuts platter to pulled pork sandwich to a great variety of salads or pizzas. My favorite is Goat cheese and spinach pizza. The crust is just right and crispy. My mouth waters as I write about it. On weekends - in season, there is a band outdoors.
There are several outdoor seating areas or you can choose the indoor seating, not to forget the beautiful hilly lawn area. If you are going to use the lawn, don't forget to bring a blanket or foldable chairs , but don't bring your own wine or coolers from home. They are not allowed.
In season they have apple picking and pumpkin rides. It's a short distance from New York City or Northern New Jersey.
Take your family, friends, neighbors and enjoy.

Overall we love the Warwick Winery, however, their parking system was not well prepared for the onslaught of cars and the lines begin to pile up down the country road. It would be wise to redesign the parking system to facilitate the movement of cars. The main building was also not large enough to accommodate the inundation of people. To make matters worse, it rained, and everyone was soaked. Also, the bathroom lines were extremely long and a few extra port-o-potties might have helped. Some of the "ripe" apples did not have much taste, however the Fuji's were AWESOME! We have fun roaming the orchard and picking apples, enjoying the grounds and enjoying the food. The food lines were a bit long and the process probably could have been facilitated a bit with some planning. None-the-less we all had a great time and will continue to return to the Warwick Valley Winery many more times in the future.

What a great day we had with friends this past weekend at Warwick Valley Winery. After tasting the many different varieties of wines, cider, cordials and bourbon, we moved to their outdoor patio with umbrella tables, ordered a fantastic lunch along with bottle of red, white and hard cider. The food was excellent...spinach and goat cheese pizza, margarita pizza, roasted beet and goat cheese salad and truffled french fries (to die for!). We also had the fruit and cheese and meat platters... All was perfectly prepared!

I would have given the winery 5 stars if it had not been for the lack of bathrooms and port a johns... The lines were 20 - 30 deep conservatively. Very poor planning on the owners, as the place was absolutely mobbed with people. Also, seemed as though there could be more seating on the patio, because of how inviting the outside space was, people didn't leave when they finished eating (nor did we...). Looked as though they could seat twice as many tables.

There was live music outside on a lower patio that sounded terrific, but we had the misfortune of sitting near a group of ten people who were so loud that they actually drowned out the music! Yeah, that loud!

Would I go back? Yes, in a heartbeat, but I will try to go on a Friday and hope that it is not as crowded.
