My wife and I visited Lizzie Keays for the first time about a month ago. We were both very impressed by the chefs' incorporation of fresh local ingredients, delicious food, and reasonable prices. We both enjoyed the chicken and shrimp jambalaya. A few nights ago we returned for a second visit. This time I ordered the seafood fra diavlo (hot). Talk about depth of flavor. The scallops and shrimp both tasted as though they had been caught that day. The sauce was absolutely incredible. Slightly sweet, yet hot at the same time with bits of garlic throughout. This was the best fra diavlo I've had anywhere -- period. It's about time somebody got the "hot" version of this correct -- copious amounts of heat with the most amazing flavor. For dessert I had the red velvet cheesecake -- delicious. With a restaurant like this just twenty five minutes away from South Glens Falls, the other players in town had better up their games. We'll be back!
