Good authentic Italian. Clams Tomotto Soup is incredible. Great service and Mama always there to greet you! The best combo veal/chicken parm around. Make sure you make a reservation on weekends, as seating is limited.

We had otto's on our itinerary and were happy to arrive. After 4 days of travelling, we obviously didn't have a reservation and ended up there on a Saturday. "Mama" looked very concerned and did her best to accommodate us....but made sure those with reservations went in first (which we understood). The food was hot and fresh, the soups were great (onion and tomato seafood) and the staff were very friendly and attentive - although quite a few looked very tired. The place was packed and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The only complaint we had would be the crab cakes...too much breadcrumbs. I enjoyed the flavor but, truthfully, it tasted more like a pan fried cake made from Thanksgiving stuffing with almost no crab flavor. My wife was pretty sad as lye was looking forward to a great nor'eastern crab cake. The rest was great and we give it a big thumbs up.

We have eaten at Otto's many times, especially for birthdays, or even Valentine's Day. Mama is usually hosting, and is always solicitous, gracious and sweet. We've never had anything we didn't like; it's all good. The last time we were there for our twins' birthday, she gave the, each an Otto mug when she found out. It is very busy, which is why reservations are a MUST. Do not attempt to get in for dinner on the fly if you dislike waiting. The food is made fresh from scratch, and that takes time, plus, there are many people wanting to enjoy the great food, and the place isn't very big. They are loathe to expand and ruin the small restaurant dynamic they have. I agree with them. Any bigger and the quality of the food would be negatively impacted. Even if I can't always get in at the last minute, I will come back over and over, we enjoy it that much. Thank Mama and crew!

Otto's serves portions that will make your eyes bulge, especially if you're not a WNY native. We enjoyed the casual dining atmosphere, and chatting with "Momma Tomato," who was making the rounds and chatting up a storm with everyone. Be prepared to eat a heavy meal (fried Brussels sprouts, bruschetta with piles of cheese, and well-oiled pasta), and keep an open mind and try the fried dough dessert, which blew us away. (We took it home to eat later in the evening.)

From Auburn and meet friends from Rochester. Restaurant was very easy to get to from the thruway. Place was small but had a warm comfortable feeling like being home. Had the Otto onion soup along with the linguini and white clam sauce. Both were excellent.
Others in our group of four also raved about their meal. Our main server Thomas along with the others were very attentive from water refills and checking our dining needs, even though the place was filling up with other customers. The owner also came by each table to say hello and how's the meal. Something you don't find often any more in a restaurants. Will definitely make a point to stop again when in the area or passing thru on the thruway
