Room was very nice and clean. Bedding comfortable. Shuttle to casino very adequate. You could hear normal conversation thru the walls, very poor sound proofing. Breakfast was lots of carbs and watery coffee . No frig or microwave in room.

Stayed for a marathon at Turningstone Casino.... Was hard to get any sleep..... walls are thin and people were very noisy in the halls and listened to snoring all night long...snoring was not from our room lol Other than that, it was very clean.....maid service was wonderful and very helpful.....Price was reasonable and would stay there again if I didn't have to be up early... We needed our sleep... If noise isn't a concern for you....I would give it a thumbs up!!

Wonderful room...clean, comfortable. All the staff were pleasant and very helpful. Will stay here again. Do wish they would have a small fridge in the room. I am on a liquid diet and had to utilize the ice bucket to keep it cool.

Staff: Professional and friendly, for the most part

Breakfast: Self-service and bready. With the exception of yogurt, food choices are limited to 99% simple carbs, doughnuts, English muffins, raisin bread, white bread, waffle station, three or four cold cereal varieties and oatmeal. Coffee is slightly watered down (pours like tea) but clean tasting. Limited tea and juice variety. Would like to have seen fresh fruit like apples and oranges offered.

Room: Very clean throughout our stay with modern decor with the exception of two flies in the room. Switched rooms from 519 to 515 because of the strong smell of fresh cigarette smoke. 515 was better but still smelled of stale smoke for non-smoking rooms. Housekeeping was very friendly. Our room faced the Rt.-365 but traffic noise was surprisingly dull which was nice. However interior noise was a major problem the first night (Friday night) and was not able to sleep until 4:30 a.m.

Was able to hear not just hallway noise but really stair noise. It's the guests walking up and down the stairs to and from the second level that creates the continuous stomping noise almost all night long. Guest next door returned to her room at 2:45. Heard her speaking on her cellphone. 3:30 am, her son and at some point her friend came back, heard knocking on the door and a full conversation until 4:30 a.m.

The two following nights were vastly different, was a little concerned because assumed Saturday night would be worse but was a major improvement compared to Friday.

Sometime throughout Sunday (Aug. 26) a transformer blew and the entire neighborhood was left without power. We returned to the inn around 9:30 pm and the entire street was dark but saw restoration power crews working. The inn was lit on backup generators but were warned by one guest of what happened which was worse earlier in the evening. We saw a few different groups of guests checking out and were warned by the lone staff member that there might be light flickering or continued disruption for the rest of the night.

We still decided to stay and luckily wound up not being the case so we were fortunate.

Issue with checkout. We were a part of a wedding group and the rate quoted over the phone for Friday and Saturday night was $105. Upon checkout it was $107/night. Front desk said that the $107 "was the rate."

No, it was not, esp. considering the normal rate with advance booking can be had for $99/night and some guests had promotional coupons for a free night's stay. If the room is $107, $701, $71 or $105 and stated it in advance, that is the rate. A quote is a quote, verbal or written. Indian reservation rules don't deregulate NY state law with unexpected price increase.

We stayed at the Inn at Turning Stone because we had a free night from the casino. The check in was confusing for the person behind the counter because we had been given 2 confirmation numbers: 1 for the free night and the other we paid. Finally, this was resolved and we were able to check in. That night I was awaken at about 3:30 AM by the people next to our room. You can hear everything through the walls- their conversation, music and even when they took a shower! The bed was comfortable but there is no coffee maker in the room. I need my coffee after waking up in the morning and their free breakfast coffee was quite watered down. Would I stay again at the Inn... nah!

I was extremely pleased with this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I called 1 night ahead of time and asked for the furthest room from the lobby and on the 2nd floor. I got exactly what I requested. I read reviews beforehand and people stated to do this if people plan to stay there. I heard absolutely nothing from other rooms or people talking. This place was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good!!! This isn't a luxury resort, it's just very basic
and it fulfilled our needs. I have NO complaints at all. I plan on coming back next month!!!

Room Tip: If you're concerned with noise, ask for a room furthest away from the lobby and 2nd floor. There...
