I have stayed at the Lodge almost 10 times and continue to prefer going there for any "getaways" since I live just under 2 hours away. It is worth every penny. The beds (usually get the King room) are like a cloud. The turndown service, with robes and slippers laid out, candy bags, and soothing music on the player next to the bed make it so cozy. I had a 2nd floor room the last time, and the small porch with teak furniture right above the running brook was the most relaxing spot. I highly recommend staying at the Lodge. Most of the time you are separated from the "riff raff" that just look to get a room and party (that happens in the Tower and Hotel), and being secluded helps with the fact that the pool/hot tub use are included and most of the time you are swimming alone. LOVE it here, can't wait to go again. PS the new pillow menu is so COOL, I got the knee pillow and the memory foam pillows, they were great. I requested and tried out the "water pillow" but it just wasn't my thing. Either way - there wasn't a bad thing about my stay - and I surely didn't want to leave!
