This was a great place to stay......the rooms are clean and very nice. All rooms have a frig. And microwave in them and the staff are very helpful and friendly. They also have a free shuttle service to pick you up and take you to the nearby airport in Albany or the train station, as well as to any place in downtown Troy that you want to go to. The Recovery Sports Bar is attached to this hotel and they have a great menu!

It was a wonderful place. Friendly staff, clean rooms and easy parking. We attended a business conference and they provide very comfortable business training facility. Attentive staff to the needs during the conference and to the luncheon we had during the event.

This was my second stay at the HGI in Troy and it will not be the last. I stay here when I am in Watervliet for meetings, close by to all the Albany area. This HGI is bigger then most, with a sports bar and conference accomodations as well. Interesting check-in as it is on a different floor then where you walk-in, but staff was great and made a quick check-in. The room was clean and updated, the A/C didn't cool off as much as I like, but I like it cold and many others don't. Breakfast was great both mornings and the sports bar wasn't to bad. The street it sits on is very busy and traffic tends to get backed up.
