It's odd to find a better-than-expected hotel restaurant, but this one makes the grade. The bar is comfortable and inviting, and the beer selection includes local craft-brewed selections. The wine list, though short, is competent and fitted to the menu. My wife's steak was a nice piece of meat, properly seasoned and grilled to her liking. My meal was equally good.

You could order as much as you want and the different flavors for the wings. I liked the teriyaki the best, and then followed by sweet thai. I only ate there on Wednesday for wing night. You should make reservations at the front desk.

When we visit the Ticonderoga area, we always have at least one dinner at the Burgoyne Grill. It is our favorite place to eat in the area.

The dining room is charming, the addition out the back is best for eating with families. The air conditioning keeps the entire restaurant well chilled on event the hottest of summer nights.

The beer menu is quite adequate, with a few good selections on tap. For a tourist area, the beer prices are very reasonable. The use frozen glasses for the draft beer that the offer, the perfect drinking vessel for a warm summer night.

The menu is large with options/prices for bar type foods, family and upscale dining. They have a kids menu that has plenty of options.

The portions are quite impressive. The French fries they serve with many of the items are very good. Bread before the meals is very tasty. Sandwiches are well done. Their appetizers have good sized portions as well.

The prices are very reasonable considering where you are and the amount of food you get. The service can be slow during busy times but why the hurry. Enjoy the historic atmosphere of the restaurant and bar. Plenty of neat memorabilia on the walls along with modern depictions of scenes form the Fort Ticonderoga historic past.

Our family goes here every time we visit the area. A fairly new restaurant, they are doing quite well at building a reputation for quality food at reasonable prices in a historic location.

We can’t wait to go back again someday soon.

I got a hamburger and a beer. It was good, no complaints. The service took forever though- almost an hour and a half from being seated to getting a check. The problem was from there only being one waitress for the whole restaurant. She was running around like crazy from table to table, and was very friendly. A+ to the waitress, D- to the management for not hiring more help.

The daily specials are good and the kitchen is good. The waitress can sometimes have too many tables though so service can be slow.
