“Beautiful Mansion”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

I took my two kids on the hour long tour of the Lyndhurst Mansion and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The kids were bored but I definitely want to go back without them and spend more time exploring the grounds. The mansion itself is breathtaking and our tour guide was very knowledgable and informative.

“Great place to visit”
Reviewed November 24, 2012

Just visited today and had a wonderful time. I am not sure what some of the other reviews are talking about in terms of upkeep. I thought everything was very well restored. While not everything on the property has been restored yet, the main house is in very great condition. All of the furnishings are original to the main house, which has a very rich history to it. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.

One thing is in the winter it can get pretty cold by the water so you may want to bring very warm clothes if you plan to tour the estate after the tour.
