“Donuts Cooked to Order! Wow what a concept!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 18, 2014

I am not a big fan of eating a donut that has been on the shelf after sitting in oil. At Twin peaks you order your donuts and the robot makes them for you and it is not in oil. My wife and my first experience with the donuts there was ordering a my donut slider. It had an egg, your choice of meat and cheese between two two halves of the donut. Coffee was roasted in their own machine and delicious. The service could not be better. The owner even helped me with a problem I was having with my vehicle. This is a small town eatery with a unique concept.

“Fresh Hot Donuts, Great Coffee, Bkfast & Lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2014

Twin Peaks is one of the newer additions to the Tannersville, NY ("Mountaintop") scene. Walk in and the smell of coffee (they roast and grind their own) and fresh made donuts will consume you. There are plenty of tables to get comfortable in, along with counter service. I was here for their grand opening back in November of 2013 and it appears even now during the after ski season "slow" period, they're still drawing in the customers, especially locals. There were about eight people in line for donut orders, which were being filled as quickly as they came off the fryer. Order them plain or topped/dipped in whatever suits you. People were taking home a dozen or two at a time, still hot!

They offer a breakfast and lunch menu, with a set number of everyday choices, plus specials (I was here for lunch). I enjoyed a bowl of Creamy Potato Soup that helped take the chill off the day. Someone has a good handle on the baking, because their cheese biscuits (served with the soup) are soft and flaky and delicious. They had an Asian Chicken Salad with freshly grilled chicken that was tastefully garnished.

A number of tables were enjoying the sandwich offerings as well.

Enjoyed two cups of fresh brewed coffee (four varieties) and noted the huge coffee roaster in front of the cafe and burlap sacks of beans ready for the next round. That must be a sight to see.

Nearly six months in and Twin Peaks seems to have struck a chord with the locals and visitors. worth a trip to colorful Tannersville NY!

“A great new place for lunch in Tannersville”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 8, 2014

My wife and I have had lunch here several times since they opened in the fall of 2013. Each time we've had something different, often the specials. The sandwiches are simply great. Great looking, great tasting and more then enough even for a hungry man. The same can be said for the soups. What's more, the soup is served HOT, very unusual to actually get HOT soup anywhere these days. Yesterday I had the chili with a turkey sandwich. The chili was as good as I've ever had............anywhere. I have yet to have a donut as I shy away from sweet stuff. but I hear they are very good. It's a great place to sit and just and have a nice leisurely lunch. Do yourself a favor, stop in at Twin Peaks for lunch, I think you'll be glad you did.

“What a gem!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 30, 2014

This new coffee shop is certainly a gem! The coffee is great, the donuts are made fresh to order, and the food is delicious. There is a set lunch menu, but there are constantly different lunch specials each week. The space itself is inviting - cozy yet airy at the same time - the exact kind of place you would want to spend time in chatting with friends! Great addition to town!

“Best Coffee and Breakfast near Hunter”

Twin Peaks is clean and cozy! The coffee is good and the donuts are amazing! There are always people inside eating when I pop in which for such a small, quiet town is a great sign.
