“Even better than you were told”
Reviewed August 3, 2013 via mobile

Pastabilities is a downtown Syracuse Italian restaurant renowned for its bread, Italian red sauce and homemade pastas. And all is better than you can imagine. Even the duck bacon flat bread pizza is ridiculously amazing. Do not miss. At least 30 minute wait.

“Yum”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

The bread from the bakery is scrumptious. It does not need butter or anything...Fresh pesto also available. Picked up a few jars of hot Tom and they went fast as everyone could not stop dunking the good bread. Don't know which is better, the bread or the hot tom

“Best Mojito in town!”
Reviewed August 2, 2013 via mobile

Serves the best Hot tomato oil sauce, with fabulous bread baked daily in the restaurant's bakery across the street. The restaurant's hot tomato oil Sauce is now sold at Wegman's!

Option to Dine street-side and on patio behind restaurant when weather permits. Indoor dining area at rear of restaurant leaves much to be desired. Variety of delicious pasta sauces offered.

“So good!”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

Finally made it after all these years! I would go back just for the homemade bread and spicy tomato dip. Oh wow is that good. I can't imagine how people can leave the restaurant without a loaf of the bread and a jar of sauce. Amazing. For dinner I had the eggplant lasagna and it was delicious. My nephew had the flatbread pizza with duck bacon. As much as I loved my dinner, his pizza was hands down the best entrée of the evening. You must try it. It is out of this world good. There are lots of restaurant choices in Armory square but don't miss this place. It is wonderful. Be sure to check out the outdoor activities going on nearby and you may be able to catch a concert going on as you dine outside.

“The BIGGY is the RIGGY-JIGGY...???...”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Reasonable prices; unreasonably good food...

Simple, but high quality Italian-influenced menu with Pastabilities' signature diablo-tomato dipping sauce is uniquely Upstate...As is the riggy-jiggy or whatever.

Great for family, business or college touring. Enjoyable refined atmosphere.

A great regional find that won't break the bank
