We rode our bicycles from Buffalo to Albany along the Erie Canal. In the guide we were using, Moonstruck was the closest B&B coming from the west. About 2 pm, we called and told we were VERY lucky because they'd just had a cancellation.
The hosts were very nice and suggested a restaurant within walking distance and gave us a route that kept us off the main highway.
I was curious if she had many bicyclists?
She then informed me that she usually doesn't take bicyclists because she usually has a 2 night minimum.
That made me feel rather unwelcome.
It was a very nice place, and we had a comfortable night's sleep.
But for $175, I thought breakfast could have been more than a bowl of granola!
