Looks like nothing from the outside. But oh what deliciousness is put on the table! From the olive oil to dip your bread in with little bits of hot pepper to the appetizers to the main to the burnt vegetable side to the Napoleon dessert and warm biscotti! Everything g that went in my mouth was yummy. The wait staff and owner very attentive. A big fat winner!

Not the one of Billy Joel song, but my "Girls" of a certain age sing this one's praises. Good spot for cozy camaraderie, cash discounts and scrumptious cuisine. Pleasant service, food not as hot temp as I like it, but delicious.
Good cocktails, good bolognese sauce
Can't vouch for the seafood, but they say it is what they are known for.
Bring cash for price fixe dinner during the week
Worth it!
Not fancy, but cozy and clean. Convenient to LIRR. "Girls" and I will be back! Dieter's note: Try Zucchini Bolognese or Eggplant Parm. Way to go!

After having been to a half dozen restaurants in the area between 3:30 and 4:30pm on a Saturday without any success in securing a table, the mad Russian and I wound up in the parking lot of Bella Notte. At first we were told that they would not be opening until 5pm, but the food gods must have been with us as we were invited inside to sit and eat. Or maybe it's because I'm Italian.... either way the food pangs got happy thoughts knowing that they soon would be satisfied. The air conditioning was turned on, the table set, bread delivered and the drinks administered- things were looking up.
Craving something not on the menu- frute di mare- the mad Russian flashed the baby blues and got just what was itching her and I got some stuffed mushrooms and veal marsala. The bread came out hot from the oven and with a glass of red table wine, I was in heaven. We ate for over an hour and a half and enjoyed the meal and the service equally.
To finish, I had a double espresso with some complimentary home- made biscotti that was so fresh and delicious.

Tip: bring cash! They offer a discount for paying cash and look for their cards on a future visit for wine offers.

Overall, a great meal very reasonably priced.

Knowledgeable waiters and chef are open to create your favorite seafood dish. Don't miss the veal bolognese with zucchini . The seafood casserole is always delicious. Complementary Homemade biscotti is always served for dessert. Weekdays are best. As the word spreads, there is always a wait on the weekends. Worth the visit

Was pleasantly surprised with our dinner. All restaurants at this location had previously closed in short order. Have now been there 3 times in the last 6 months. Great service. Make reservations as this restaurant gets crowded. Hector from the old La Viola works here.
