The Samosas were nice large bird-shaped pastry filled with well seasoned beef filling. Served with green cilantro and tamarind sauces. The other main dishes were excellent.

I've been going to Priya off and on for years, and almost every time I go there the place is empty or nearly so. That's strange, because the food has always been good to very good. Recommended: chicken tikka masala and lamb vindaloo (both old standards, but made well here, with rich flavor) and in particularly the pakoras as appetizers - the best I've ever had.

We've been here many times and it is one of the better Indian restaurants in the Rockland County, NY/Northern, NJ area. We find the food, while very good, to be inconsistent from visit-to-visit - sometimes for the better, other times not so much. The Pikora is a good appetizer choice as is the Samosa. For a dinner entree, the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Lamb Korma are good bets. They have a decent wine list, fairly priced. All-in-all, I would recommend it for a "better-than-average" choice. Service is good and the prices are quite reasonable.

My wife and I have been patronizing this typical and longstanding Indian restaurant just over the NY border in Suffern, for many years. Unfortunately, the place has gone downhill to the point where the dishes we ordered tonight lacked any spice or hotness. Partly it is our own fault for not specifying that we wanted our food at medium heat, but we weren't asked either. Parking is in their own lot at the door. Service was good. Portions are good sized. The food was served hot and within a reasonable time. But I am sorry to say that these things do not fix the lack of flavor in the meal. I made a reservation on their website which was not acknowledged and as it turned out, totally unnecessary, since only 2 other tables were occupied on this Saturday evening. This is not a good sign for this restaurant's future.

Everything we've tried we liked, yes the atmosphere is boring but it's relaxing and quiet. Although it was pretty packed on a Sat night but if you like quiet go on a week night.
