Chef Carol Frazzetta is one of the stars of USA culinary arts. Everything is home made. The spices are perfectly blended and nuanced. She easily beats out places like Per Se, Jean Georges, or Gramercy Tavern. She is right there with Daniel Boulud in the quality of her food. It just tastes delicious! She makes everything from the famed Broccolli rabe, to the wonderful cakes. What is really special about this restaurant, however, is you can tell her to make whatever you want, in whatever way you want, and she will try her best to make it. If she doesn't have the ingredients, she will tell you. She is one of the most honest, straightforward people on the planet. She is a great lady and a kind soul. The real deal!
