We were biking on the Catskills Scenic (Rail) Trail on a sunny mid-October day and rode into the village of Stamford to find some lunch. We came upon Jelly Bellies, which apparently had been open only a short time under the present management. We were initially greeted by an effervescent toddler in a walker and then by the couple who run the restaurant. They could not have been more accommodating, let us park our bikes in the front, moved tables and chairs out to the front patio, so we could enjoy the sunshine. We shared a couple of excellent pizzas, pepperoni/onion and sausage/green pepper, both with nice crispy crust. Not a fancy place at all, but probably the best pizza I've had in some time.
