I visited The North Fork Table for the fourth time last night.= and had the tasting menu for the first time.
First I have to say the bread was unbelievable - light,, crispy outside...delicious. Would love it even more with unsalted butter, but it was also good with the salted variety.
Then a celery root amuse bouche - dollop of olive oil, parsley and some other magic flavor.
It went on from there..each course delicious and delightful. We did not have the wine pairing, preferring a North Coast Pinot Noir, and a glass of port to finish.
The port went particularly well with the fig napoleon....good with the multilayered chocolate desert as well.
Altogether a memorable evening.d
