We called in our order for pick up because we knew they would be busy since it was a weekend. They told us it would be ready in a half and hour and we had no problem with the given wait time. However when we arrived for our order we ended up waiting an additional half hour while we watched the kids behind the counter goof off and ignore us. Finally we got our food and paid for it (it was a little over priced) only to get home to see that they burnt our pizza the crust cheese everything! Additionally we got a pasta dish that was supposed to come with a salad and bread that we did not receive. So we paid $32 for an inedible pizza, a pasta dish with out the sides and to watch rude kids mess around with each other like jerks.

We have been to Michaelangelo's on the East End at all of their locations. The newest location, in Southold, is our favorite. The ambience is terrific and the food is always delicious. The prices are reasonable, although the liquor prices are a bit steep. The portions are very generous - you always get to take some home for the next day! The only suggestion I would make is that they describe the stuffed mushrooms to reflect the fact that they contain seafood. They are not described at all on the menu and folks who are allergic to seafood could get very sick if they forget to ask!

We recently had dinner at Michelangelo's while visiting the north fork. For an appetizer, we started with the fried calamari that was very good. My wife followed with a soup that was a meal in itself, followed by a large salad. I had the veal parmesan that I believe was the best I have ever had. The dinner paired with a good local wine was an overall treat. We would definitely visit this establishment again.

our take-out Pizza was, IMO, fair...
it was dry and the sauce was kind of bland and the dough was thick and kind of chewey...
There is much better pizza available on the North Fork...
