Great local spot with terrific food!!
A true beachy feel with local bar crowd, tear around.

Easily accessible, good parking. Bring your boat and tie up.

I really want to love this place, but the food is consistently terrible. However, the location is great and the bar a lot of fun, so it gets three stars instead of just two.

This is a great stopping place between NYC and the Hamptons. Since it changed ownership sever a years ago it has improved markedly. The service is friendly and for the most part professional--at least the waiters (not the bus staff). the menu is more varied than under previous ownership and the food is very good. Recently we have been pleased with the soups(clam chowders in various forms the lobster salad and the fired breaded shrimp. The draft beer is also good and there are several choices. I should mention the great location--just by the water--it is a very restful and beautiful view. It also has a screened terrace for dining in warm weather.

Rather than eating before we left Sag Harbor, we decided to stop here on the way home. The restaurant is just off Rt 27 right before it becomes a highway as you leave the Hamptons. We were given a friendly greeting and choice of tables, we chose to sit at the window overlooking the water and were treated to the sight of a large swan swimming by just before dark. We both had the steamed lobster. They were served with a good corn on the cob and some roasted potato. Decent lobster, not overcooked. For desert shared the bread pudding. Very good, albeit standard version served with some whipped cream. They have a full bar and a somewhat limited, but adequate wine list. All in all, not a bad choice if you are in the mood for lobster.
