Description: LittleIRed infuses local ingredients & charm into a heartfelt rendering of New American favorites. The menu is belly-full with simple, relaxed, made-to-share dishes: chicken paillard, roasted baby beet and goat cheese salad, steak frites, pan-seared local cod, veal milanese, and that's just a taste. The dessert is ridiculously good; for some people it's their favorite part of the meal. We don't blame them. Our tables are open every season & feeding people truly makes us happy.

We often frequent Little Red as constancy without surprises are key. Their salads are wonderful as are the steamed mussels. Try the crisp calamari salad with mixed greens or Frisee Aux Lardons with bacon, shallots and a poached egg. I for one, LOVE their burgers, cooked to perfection just as you order. Oh, and the frittes (frys) are done as one might expect in Brussels or Antwerp.

This is a neighborhood place and relies heavily on locals and repeat business year round. You know the food is going to be good. Is it cheap, hey, nothing in the Hamptons is cheap. But the food at Little Red is well worth it's tag.

I'm finding it difficult to eat anything from the Little Red menu except their cod fish. One improvement, since we ate here last summer, is that you can't smell the septic system...in the winter or when the tide is out.

We'll see where this restaurant's chef is hiding his talent at some point. So far, he's keeping it under a bushel basket!

Such a relief...no pun intended. Numerous patrons, including this one, had their dining experiences tainted by the odor of sewage coming from the septic tank of this restaurant or another one very nearby. Yes, straight from local outhouses to, what we had hoped would be, a fine restaurant. Sorry, that's more than I can bare, given the mediocre food we were served and the high prices being charged. This gives a new meaning to the word "stinker". It's a valient effort to revive this space, long known as a local shot-and-beer joint and, as stated above, a change that has been a long time in coming. But when patrons have to sit atop the septic tanks in this garden restaurant, they want to smell roses, not yesterday's corned beef. When booking, ask if the septic tanks were pumped out that day...otherwise, find a seat elsewhere and smell the roses.

The duck reuben is insanely good. I will be savoring that dish for a long time. We all enjoyed our apps and entrees which is always a good sign. The wines by the glass were great and we enjoyed eating at the bar. The room is sharp without being stuffy and the outside seating looked really inviting. I know it may seem silly, but the bathroom was cool and the hand dryer was unusual and actually worked! This is a neat place to stop in for a meal while enjoying a day in Southhampton. Nice to find out this this place is open for lunch and that they have another place in town that is supposed to be great. I'll let you know

A little sister to Red Bar in Southampton, Little Red is a great restaurant and not to be missed. Little Red welcomes you with casual atmosphere. Meet friends at the well stocked bar and then move on to a wonderful dinner seated inside or out. The menu is quite varied and offers delicacies from their kitchen with a Europe flair or something as simple as a burger. Oh, I definitely recommend the burger, done just the way you like it. Cheddar cheese ... why when you can have rich creamy brie? Lots of wonderful salads to choose from and great mussels in savory sauce. There's lots of parking right outside the door in the town parking lot. If you're planing on being there on a Friday or Saturday evening, come early or make sure to have reservations.
