The family that runs it seems to be customer-oriented. Reception is warm and friendly, and service professional and timely. Comfortable dining room with plenty of space around the tables allowing for private conversations.

Menu is old-fashioned red sauce palace, every dish of the eight we had was well executed
and presented. Mushroom ravioli in particular was outstanding, as were the escargots with puff pastry. Sauces a tad on the salty side, bread is forgettable, and butter scarce. House wines and cocktails at reasonable prices, all in all a very pleasant experience.

I really wanted to enjoy our meal but as soon as the bread basket hit the table I knew that wasn't likely. The bread tasted like fluffy Costco dinner rolls. Too sweet and void of any flavor. Cream of vegetable soup was tasty so there was a glimmer of hope. Then the entrees were served. Mine was Filet Mignon with mushroom risotto. I informed the waiter that i couldn't eat onion or garlic. The risotto was crunchy and loaded with chunks of yellow onion. As much as the risotto was undercooked, my filet- a pathetic end cut was cooked beyond recogntion even though i ordered it rare. The replacement steak was also overcooked and unbelievably sitting in the middle of an otherwise empty plate. The kitchen decided to leave the red wine sauce off since it contained onions even though they could have put it on the side and let me decide. The steak was so dry that there wssn't a drop of juice on the plate even after eating half of it. Dry and tasteless at best. The ignorant wait staff was rude and we couldn't have left soon enough. Not surprisingly the restaurant was not busy.

The food here is excellent and care is given by the family owners to assure excellent and friendly service. You feel welcome here and the atmosphere is warm with sufficient spacing between tables to provide private dining without the noise present in many other restaurants. We decided to eat here more often in the future. They are also very attentive to food allergies and dietary restrictions and give care to be certain your food is individually prepared to avoid any concerns. Bravo to this restaurant and may it remain in this family for many years!!

This is a quite charming place on entry, large rooms and well decorated. Greeting was very pleasant and throughout service was excellent. Food was good, not amazing but good. My kids especially liked the fried mozarella with marinara and my penne was very good. Wine list had a good selection and pricing was very reasonable

One thing that distracted entire;ly was the piped music which plays from ceiling speakers and for a restaurant with a great atmosphere like this is really not necessary and obtrusive. On arrival it was really loud and we asked for it to be turned down which was done immediately but still very audible. If I was the owner I would seriously consider switching it off - the rooms have more than enough charm without it and it got pleasantly busy with plenty of amiable chatter and laughter without this.
