Maureen's Kitchen is wonderful!!! The atmosphere is all about cows - even a motorcycle outside in the lobby is decorated like a cow. The food is delicious, with huge portions. The menu is very varied. It is always hard to choose what to order. Service is top rated - everyone is friendly and eager to please. It is our very favorite place to eat. Wish they were open for dinner.

Thank NORMAN S

Why hasn't this restaurant been visited by EVERY Food Network, Travel Channel, Television Chef with a reality Review Show? It's not the great food. It's not the terrific people that work there? It's not the Cow Theme. It"s not even the occassional line. No, it's the way you'll feel after you leave. Complete. Like you just had a really great experience, instead of just Breakfast or Lunch. Don't be afraid of sitting at the counter, but be ready for the person on the stool next to you to start talking to you like you've known each other for decades. Listen to the owner when he tells you what you want to eat. You really do. And don't be discouraged when your food comes and you see the fellow 2 seats away from you has something you wished you ordered. ....Because he's feeling the same about what you're eating. You'll get that ...next time. WARNING: STUFFED PEPPERS. You MUST BRING your APPETITE if you're ordering this. (Suggest you not eat for 2 days prior)

My daughter, (Maureen), suggested we go here for my birthday last year. The ride out from Queens was well worth it. Everything was perfect. The atmosphere, staff, menu selections, food and prices were fabulous. A true "Five Star" experience.

The food is very good, and the restaurant is very pleasing to the eye, filled with lots of cow decorations all over the place. The only downside is a long, long wait. We have gone a few times for breakfast or lunch and sometimes the wait wasn't that bad, like in the afternoon. I think they close late afternoon, or they used to. It was a good time and good food each visit.

The food cant be beat! Real homemade dishes that are well worth the loooooong wait. Go when you are not yet hungry - by the time you are seated, you will be starving.
