Sure you can get better in Queens, see my other reviews, but if you don't want to drive out there, this is perfectly acceptable and authentic. We followed the advice of the NY Times review and had the green papaya salad, pad thai, grilled beef, and tamarind duck. Great food. Service was a bit slow because of a large group celebrating a birthday. But we liked it and will come again. The dining room is quite nice and spacious. 2 couples, with 2 singha beers for each person, generated a bill of 85$ per couple. Location is off the beaten track, and just a couple of blocks from the Tarrytown train station.
